That Skylark sounds savage. Best sounding LS I've heard.

@@BuildTuneRace indeed. seems lot pressure in drag racing in some areas these days. seems everyone is all about building 6 sec cars and if you dont have one you arent the cool kid lol. i have the 64 skylark project and been tight on funds. gotta get my driveshaft parts so i can make one then get balanced. cause shops said 350$. which i dont have lol. so talked with summit and they can get me all the parts for 130$. and then get balanced for 20$.

@@StevesDIYProjects7 I've had a ton of fun at events where we were just hangout and playing with the cars not trying to compete or go faster but just drive the car around and have fun! You can always add to it to go faster down the road but getting the car out is 90% of it!

Awesome video man, really digging the channel! It was great meeting you guys, hanging out at our hotel and the track. The cars really caught my attention the night of day one! Honestly just glad to see someone building very unique and fast cars, that's my style! Cant wait to get my car done and maybe we can run em' at the track in the near future. Till next time keep up the good work brotha!

It will go high 7s but you need to work on the first few hundred feet. Leaving to soft and it's why you had the tire shake. Low 1.20s shouldn't be a problem. Good luck getting it worked out. Great looking car too.

I agree 1.2 shouldn't be hard the track was terrible when it shook the tires 2nd day was better we will get it turned up!

The Mazda and skylark are friggin fast. I was wondering are front runners actually worth it?
@BuildTuneRace5 жыл бұрын
With the wide rims on the Skylark you have extra rolling resistance not sure how to calculate that though lol. I definitely could tell front runners feel more stable then wide front tires. The wide tires seem like they want to move the car around a bit more. Also extra weight.

it's called a Mazda not a Muzda this will help you pronounce correctly ! Say Apple now see when you say apple how dose the letter A sound? now add the A in MAzda the same way you pronounced the A in apple WOW you did it! lol
