18 managers under ENIC’s 20 years. Do they ever back the manager to compete for top four? I guess ENIC thinks that when injured players come back after months then it’s a new signing. No manager in the world could turn this around. When you don’t have a bench and play every three days those players that start every game start to wear down. This is just reality.

We knew we would have all these extra fixtures, we removed so much dead wood from our squad and doing ao freed up so much of our wage budget yet the hoard did not replace them and build the big squad thats needed to compete like Ange is talking about! Well they can’t be backing him if they’re not buying players in January. Because if they were backing him Levy would go out there and just buy players regardless of paying over the market value, but we all know that Levy only cares about profits and money coming in. I guarantee you we will sign no other players in January because Levy is waiting for us to get kicked out of the 2 cup competitions and as soon as we do, then he’ll sack him. Romero was correct! Levy will not spend money on a manager he's about to sack, it's only a matter of time, if he doesn't start getting results he's gone, could be sacked after the Liverpool game. Levy's taking a season hit because he has a 50 cent concert at the stadium amongst other things so he's making money, otherwise this guy would have been sacked a long time ago.

He had no choice- they had hit the limit of the non homegrown, club trained players. The extra keepers were all club trained and homegrown so they could be added to the squad. The fault lies with the club not retaining enough club trained players after letting Oliver Skipp and others leave.

Some of them know they’re onto a good thing with Ange. It takes time to change the very foundations of a club that has stagnated for 50 years or more. You may be too young to remember it but if United had sacked Ferguson after he finished 11th in his third season, the 90s would have been different for them. Sacking manager after manager doesn’t work. Allow someone to build a squad in his image, over a serious amount of time. So what if you finish 11th or 15th or whatever for a year or two?! The world doesn’t end. Things are rough but as most pundits ultimately accept, no one else would come in and do better with just 11 senior players, a handful of which are inexperienced and are having to play out of position. If he’s allowed to see out his contract, Postecoglou will win something at Spurs.

Compound that with Levy's pathological unwillingness to stump up fresh talent and there's a real problem. Great reply, wish I had your optimism, but regardless of manager merrygoround, I'm not sure Ange is the right fit. Yes, I remember Fergie - I'm lifelong Spurs, family from there, and grew up with the Burkinshaw era. Those were the days ....
