The whole plan is basically to shut down a legal and safe porn industry that exists outside of Amazon's pockets through legislation in numerous states as well as in congress (things like the EARN IT act) then use the big existing platforms to push predatory practices onto vulnerable users (addicts, children, etc) in order to create and fuel addictive tendencies thus making the users less likely to stop paying into a service in perpetuity They're doing it with casinos and gambling and pornography because those are the largest entertainment industries that are not explicitly owned by Disney and Amazon It's quite literally what the film industry did back when it was coming up, by forcing all films to pass through state legislated boards to determine whether the material was indecent or morally suitable for public viewership, which led to rank antisemitism in the industry followed by child exploitation

@@OpticalJesu5 Somewhere there is a artist painstakingly sculpting the detailed naked torso of a greek statue from scratch who is lucky get 2 consecutive viewers because everyone else is at the glitter tiddies/yoga asses winking straight at the camera streams. Spare a moment of silence for not just the artists, but the women use to jamming their tongues into binaural microphones. They've been left behind by twitch firing their sexual content policy pistol from the hip with reckless abandon.

is hilarious that Twitch's cycle of New Metas is always the same: an IRL lady streamer pushes the line, Twitch moves the line without telling staff, everyone jumps right into the blurred line, an incel React Andy gets mad & mobilizes his fanbase, half of the streamers get banned even if they are following the rules, Twitch keeps the new rules just for IRL Tittys. Rinse & repeat
@npiper10 ай бұрын
You are missing a KEY component of the anti-titty-twitch movement, the actual adult streaming services that lose business every time Twitch relaxes the rules. Like Pat said "Nothing is true, Everything is allowed" welcome to astroturfing, it LOOKS like a real grass roots movement of passionate idiots but it's actually manufactured by a corporation to look that way from a distance.
@maxpflughoeft680610 ай бұрын
Ah yes of course blame the “incels” and not the people exploiting children and lonely desperate men. The “lady” streamers are also hardly ladies in the truest sense of the word. Lady of the night maybe.

So, I will point out that the moment the rule changes came out, a lot of streamers got banned who shouldn't had been banned along with a lot of streamers who were *blatantly* breaking the rules that were established with the excuse that they either didn't read the rules, or "didn't read the rules." The only way this will be solved is if all of the horny streams are glassed from the site, sent to the ether by which they belong, like they should had done _years_ ago.

Hey what if there's a streamer whose tits or junk the folks at Twitch REALLY wanted to see so they drummed this up long enough for them to let em out and then shut the door real fast now that the footage exists. Huh? What if that?

I think about tasteful nudity in the past.. and it was scandalous then. Fetish is a word people should understand, since tits themselves aren't erotic.

It wasn't all that long ago, relatively speaking, that young men would hang around places hoping for a woman to show off her ankle.

This might be a hot take but I would be fine if the government just outlawed any sort of financing of pornographic content online. No cam sites, no Only Fans. Any financial institution processing payments on sites with porn on them should catch heavy fines. Unlimited porn that can be accessed anonymously is clearly too much for humanity to handle.
@blackjacktrial10 ай бұрын
Sure, but why stop there? Also outlaw any kind of anti-government propaganda (treason), irresponsible consumption of vices (alcohol, drugs, video games, violence, procrastination) or social media (leads to mental health issues). The internet should be for corporations, not people.

From what I heard, the only reason Twitch even did this is because banning softcore is a misogynistic move.
@habadasheryjones10 ай бұрын
Which is weird because its safe to say most of the dudes legitimately watching these tiddy streamers probably aren't fighting the good fight against stuff like misogyny. Just the opposite. So twitch is basically "empowering women" by giving the "tits of GFTO" bros their softcore eye candy.
