The point about how we don't see him say the words "Charles asked for an update" is a good observation. It's likely that they wanted to have some flexibility regarding what reference they drop there. I hadn't considered that.

Beast is one of my favorites, so glad they fine-tuned the detail on his looks. Now that I've see this movie, I really had a good time! Only thing they could have left out imo was the need story-wise to sing at any point. That aside, it was great.

Hank's pants while in his lab coat are NOT taken from Kirby & Lee's X-Men as the hem is yellow, whereas the yellow on the X-Men costumes in the Silver Age comic was above the lower legs. It was right there in the panel you placed alongside the film shot.

I love Beast he’s one of my favorite X-men characters like no Joke if Wolverine never existed Beast would be my favorite X-men character but he’s my second favorite. Also I’m the type of a person who prefers Practical Effects over CGI but people have to realize Kelsey Grammer age is probably a factor on why they went the Cgi route over practical because I don’t think Grammer wants to sit on a chair to apply makeup on his face for 3 hours and tbh with you I think it actually looks great for what it’s worth.

This pretty much aligns with what I’ve always suspected would be the inspiration for X-Men in the MCU. I think the X-Men ‘97 series is the base template and then they’re tweaking things from there. I think that’s exactly why they chose to bring the series back because it’s canon without being canon to the main timeline. I imagine that is just another universe where in that case everyone is animated

There's an assumption that this version of the X-Men are in the X-Mansion. If so, then why is Beast wearing an ID badge? If Beast has to wear an ID badge, then I don't think this scene takes place in the X-Mansion. I think the assumption that this scene takes place in the X-Mansion is what Feige and others want you to think. Instead, I'm going to make a wild guess that this scene takes place in Illluminati HQ. This means that we're in a reality where Professor X is part of the Illuminati, and that the X-Men operate under the direction of the Illuminati. If this turns out to be true, then this kind of borrows from the aborted concept of The Ultimate X-Men. (There was a preview of The Ultimate X-Men in Wizard Magazine, I think, where the Ultimate X-Men were actual a secret ops group for the federal government. For whatever reason, this concept for The Ultimate X-Men was abandoned.) (Added) If this version of Beast is tracking universal anomalies, then I think it could further back up this version of the X-Men are part of the Illuminati.

The glass room Hank walks out if is labeled 103, implying there is more than 1 floor and probably more than 9 rooms per floor of medical rooms. I work at a hospital. Love the channel!

Not necessarily. Many buildings do floors in hundreds (hotels, schools, etc) so it could be based off that. Or separated by categories. Medical gets 100's, robotics get 200's, and so on.

Beast was always my fav, I love how this version is a mix of the movies and cartoon and comics. I think that xmen 97 will be folded into this, it’s a more futuristic/advanced 1990s (sentinels, holograms, everything) and it’s colorful and toyetic. I feel that Wolverine in Deadpool 3 will also be from that 97 universe.

Everything seems more institutional than the XAVIER INSTITUTE. Though it could be simply updated XAVIER INSTITUTE since it's been broken into, blown up, abandoned, and rebuilt a few times.
