Thanks for the review! Good to see how it fits a KLR too

Thank you for posting this last year =) I think your video has convinced me that this bag might be my best choice. Looks like they have made some modifications over what they originally released. The webbing is called MOLLE (modular retention straps) and can accommodate all sorts of add-on pouches, etc. Great addition!! Also looks like they eliminated the expanding bottoms on the overhangs.

The webbing is the MOLLE system. It's originally from military usage: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOLLE Do you still use that bag? I'm thinking about buying it.

Yes i have now had it for 2 years or so . i absolutely love it . Not one complaint . and i am a perfectionist type. The hack for me was to get a half dozen soft esky bags , like from super cheap auto, get different colours . and dedicate them, food, utensils/cooking/fist aid/ etc . then the whole thing is modular, when you get to camp you whip out the bags and voila, super organisation. i generally stuff the drop sides with less precious stuff like sleeping bags or these little esky bags, then keep the good stuff on the seat . I have never had anything get wet , even in torrential rain and snow . My only suggestion for improvements would be the attachment of the 4 straps to the bike. it uses a loop so you end up with a larks head knot.It works fine for me on the KLR . but if it was near heat or a sharp edge it might wear though. If you want to se a picture on the bike check out my Instagram page for my new invention and you will see the bag too. instagram.com/p/CFV35QAnZpY/?

How does this fit on the GS I have a old GS 2008 and want this bag for my motorcycle

You could fit half your household belongings in that, it looks great. The A$ price is good. I like how it’s so small folded up, and therefore very light. How is it in use? Could you use it offroad?

HI Ronan. It works great off road, I have had it now for over 12 months, i love it. there is non damage whatsoever.after 10 trips or more. Yes you could fit a whale in it, but it also rolls up at the top to keep the bag just the right size. it's really waterproof too. I have bought some cheap cooler bags ( like for for a 6 pack) they are the compartments, one for food , one for clothes etc. , you can fit a bag in each side like panniers, tent and sleeping bag in the middle, I have also added some carabeeners to the straps they give you, to make them quick disconnect.

I ride a Suzuki DR650. Is the bag on right side touching the exhaust of your KLR? Thanks.

no . i would avoid heat with this bag. like with any soft bag

The webbing looks like you can fasten other things like water bottles or small bags to it by running ties through the loops. I think the army have something similar on their kit bags. Thanks, good to see it stuffed with some gear and strapped to a bike. Hopefully it is a good bit of kit with no issue and very durable.

littleblackduc1 Hi That make sense. I have used the bag at least 6 times now. It is holding up well. It's a veritable cave to put stuff in. I have little soft cooler bags i use to separate my stuff. It works great. Gotta cinch it down hard to stop movement. Very waterproof
