Picked up the Pro City bag for my '21 R1250GSA about 3 weeks ago prior to a 4 day trip into the mountains of TN, NC & GA. It's a great size and fits the shape of the GSA tank nicely. Highly recommend it!

I have been using the micro for a year on my 21 GSA and am looking at adding either the City or the larger one. I have risers so just a bit concerned about handlebar clearance. Will probably just order both and return the one that does not work the best. Overall, I am extremely happy with the way these bags and the tank ring work.

Great Vid. I've had the ENGAGE & the DAYPACK bags for my Africa Twin for about 6 months now. (Go the Engage over the Micro Steve) Great tank bags ... you prob should have highlighted that they sit above the tank and don't touch it at all ... hence no scratches ever on the tank itself. Also just to let you know that the only problem I've found with them is that when they get dusty the spring loaded release mechanism tends to stick quite a bit and they get hard to relaease and you have to also then push the latch back in ready to put it back on the tank ring. In Oz the seller now recommends not to use them for Off-Road riding as he has had some returned. I'm going to see if there is some sort of good lubricating spray or a coating type spray to try and fix this problem on mine.

For the rear mounting. Add some spacers under attachment bolts to raise the entire plate up. You can use nylon or aluminum spacers sized for the bolts. You will obviously need longer bolts. Now you have cleared the grab handles.

I’m torn between the city and micro too (already ordered Gs pro for long runs) It looks like you had some more room to move the city bag up to minimize the overhang a tad more so I’m leaving towards that although I like the back slope of micro to match the lines of Gs tank

Super tank bags; I have the Pro Micro for day trips and the Pro City for tours. You need to watch out for handlebar clearance if you have up and back risers - I found my ABS being inadvertently turned off...who needs it anyway :)

There is also a concern with the magnet in case you need to throw some electronics inside the bag. SW M recommends to store the cell and similar electronics in the upper compartments. Is this accurate or true ?

@@davidsoanes2516 it’s good, had to move the quad lock slightly so it’s blocking the display but that’s alright, tank bag sits well and I can rest my body on it for long rides which is good as I’m going Austria on the S1K on the 17th. See the pic on my channel if you wanna see how it looks.

Great description of the whole tank bag range! :) I'm trying to decide wether the Trial or the City fits best on an R 1250 R. In the video it seems that the City (although it's smaller) is higher than the Trial when the are put side by side on the table. Could you maybe tell me what it looks like on the motorbike? :) I am a bit concerned that I won't be able to see the display of the navigation system any more. Do you think that there could be such issues? I'm talking about the standard BMW mount cradle which on the is mounted directly on the handlebar on the R 1250 R.

Wich ones will be a snug fit on the Husqvarna Norden 901 ? The tankring has been offset. Not right above the tankopening. But i need a large tankbag. Atleast 16 liter. But afraid to order it because i do not want it to interfere with sitting and standing up while riding.

HELP I have got a 2020 ninja Kawasaki KRT addition. Code EX65MLFA. Please could you advise what tankering I need. As the screws for my tank ring are actually underneath want you open up the petrol tank. I have asked many different people and they’re given me lots of different answers. Unless it's a ruggedized Panasonic Toughbook, I suggest you use a backpack with a padded laptop sleeve. You don'[t want that type of electronics bouncing about in a tank bag.

Just googled dims of the ipad pro 11" and you'll be fine with all the Pro bags in the range apart from the smallest 2 which are the Micro and the Daypack. Everything from the Engage upwards will accomodate.

The “ city “ bag is way to small. If u planing trips skip it. I have the regret to spend so much money for it and fit so little in there. I had to switch to a touratech one and does the job i need . Good concept, but to small. Make sure to see it in person of you can before the purchase.

If you put your drone case on the back, you can’t carry a pillion anyway .. so just remove the grab rails. Simple really🤷‍♂️

Not really that simple. Top bag going on rear rack too. Remove grab rail and the top rack disappears. My next thought it having a rear plate that attaches to the rear rack where a top box normally goes. SW motech only make those for the evo tank ring at present. Then I'd attach my 4 point connecting top bag to the rear seat.

@@ABIKETHING For my last bike I knocked up an aluminium plate to fit onto the rear rack (or in place of the pillion seat if desired). Simply fitted an SW-Motech tank ring to this. Then I could securely plonk any of the tank bag range on the back in a second. Sweeet 😎
