I absolutely loved how much you missed Kara, it was so sweet and I’m positive every woman who saw this wants someone to feel like that about her….. You’re both so very lucky & the best part is that you know it & appreciate it instead of taking it for granted…..💕

I really love seeing subscribers say hello to you. It must be amazing to suddenly see the two of you in their home countries. You passed through my home municipality by train a few months ago, but I'd still like to invite you to the Jokkmokk market (in northern Sweden) in the beginning of February every year. It is the biggest winter event in northern Sweden, where a small town with 2.600 people grows to a 50.000+ people winter adventure for a few days. Snow, reindeers, sled dogs and the best handicraft in the world - in an amazing mashup. One can hope, atleast. :) Thanks for bringing us along for your adventures!

I remember standing in the Empire lobby and it just blew my mind that it was originally build to be a home, not a hotel 🤯. I was lucky enough to be shown the best suite in the hotel and it had literal gold woven into the carpet, gold walls, an indoor swimming pool and I stood in the center of a 4 row corridor and I could not see the end of each corridor and that was the just in the suite. It was crazy.

I know this comment will never be seen, but if you have never been to Botswana, or never been on a horseback safari, I highly highly recommend doing one. The company my family and I went through 3 years ago is: African Horseback Safaris, Macatoo Camp. It was one of the most vulnerable and special wildlife experiences I have ever been through. I think you both would very much enjoy it, and it would make for some amazing content. I would recommend a few horseback riding classes beforehand though, lol.

The background of the hotel is fascinating too…it was the palace that belonged to the disgraced brother of the Sultan, who was known for fast cars and loose women (and I suspect responsible for the sultans swing back to Sharia law)…it’s much more developed since I was there, as is the market (which was about a dozen stalls in an abandoned car park, back in the day)

Correction, sorry, the introduction you make the sharia law looks bad. First and foremost yes we do stoned a person who commit adultery, but it's not so easy to punish a person like that. The acuser has to bring 4 male adult witnesses who witness the act of penetration. So, if the witness do not see the act penetration or are less that 4 persons, the law cannot be enforced. And if the acuser are proven to be lying, the acuser do get the punishment. Yes maybe, I dissagree with the law that prohibit chirstian to celebrate christmas. But I would not call the goverment of Brunei are bad, because, The brunei goverment give the citizen of brunei free taxes, free education, and free healtcare. 😆

I moved to Brunei 🇧🇳 from the UK 🇬🇧 7 years ago. I would say the Government is one of the best things about Brunei, His Majesty The Sultan Of Brunei really seems to care about his people and I have met and spoken to him and his family several times. In 30 years in the UK i never even got close to my leaders and I don’t feel they care about the UK or it’s people at all. Imagine if we judged Americans for the decisions of their government, it would be a billion times worse. Brunei never killed or invaded anyone. The religion is very important in Brunei and I think it’s good they value traditional beliefs and the way of living. It’s a peaceful country, people are generally very friendly and there is very little crime or conflict. People are happy here. I find it insulting when western countries act superior and say negative things about how the people of Brunei choose to live. It’s not your country, if you don’t like it, don’t go. Personally I can’t think of a nicer better place to live. Do visit Brunei, they need the tourists and you will get wonderful memories and experiences here.

Why Most people from other country always think Brunei is a bad country? 🤔 We are living in peaceful here without paying a tax and everything😄

Believe it or not but paying taxes or not paying taxes might not be the foundation of what everyone perceives as the highlight of individual happiness, but for people who enjoy it there, go for it.

Envy you. Your country is so peaceful. I never felt safe walking around at night but not in Brunei. I love how quiet the city is & how kind people are here. It’s the best place to live in. I can feel that people here are so happy to be Bruneian. I also met a Malasian who is a PR of Brunei, lives and works here, she told me how happy she is here. She feels very much safer than living in Malaysia.

I know the continuity is probably off, but I really hope Kara is feeling better! It SUCKS being in a foreign country, sick as can be, literally bedridden. She's a champ, but so is Nate! Pushing through to give us this amazing footage and story: it's impressive and beautiful at the same time. Thanks guys.

Live in Brunei 🇧🇳 for 4 years as a Singapore 🇸🇬 Military permanent staff personnel from 1994 to 1998. Christmas is not illegal, it is a public holiday but the celebration is not celebrated publically like in Singapore 🇸🇬. It is a great country. Try Jerudong Park and go to Kuala Belait, you guys will love it. I was mostly station at Temburong not Bandar Seri Begawan.
