In this episode we review some of the BEST breakfast and brunch spots around Berawa Canggu and let you know our favorite
We also share a little about setting up our lifestyle hiring a nanny and a chef and also surviving our Bali earthquake (although its not as dramatic as it sounds)

Hello Bree it was Citadines Berawa Beach - Its a little on the noisey side as there is a large night club on the beach side of the building (especially when you're up on the higher levels) also there was a lot of construction when we left so I don't know how quiet it would be now - It was a large reason why we left If you're not attached to the Canngu Area I'd recommend Sanur, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua they're a little on the quiter side :-) Any other questions please don't hesitate to let us know, thank you for your viewership :-)

Do you think Canggu is an ideal place for a family with a 7 year old and an 11 year old? We would love your thoughts . We plan to visit for a month next year for a holiday. Canggu is often regarded as a place for younger single travellers. The lack of pavements I have seen on videos does worry me

Hello!! Thank you so much for your comment and question There is SO much to do with kids here in Canngu it's very central to a lot of things. If you were to stay in Nusa Dua/Ulawatu it's very resort like and a closed gated community there's not a ton of stuff to do down there other than resort things and a few water spots. The only other place worth considering is Sanur, it's very family friendly foot paths much more formed. Good restaurants WAY less traffic and congestion and the beach is nicer. If you do come for a month you could split between Sanur and Canngu keeping in mind Sanur is going to be much more relaxed and Canngu is very busy. Theres probably much more to do in Canngu than there is Sanur or anywhere else, also it's not recommended that you walk anywhere, drivers and Gojek/grab can be very cheap - just allow for extra travel time

I'd make the time to visit Ubud too. They have ATVs In the jungle, monkey Forest and some really nice waterfalls. Down in Kuta Waterbom park is a must visit if your children like adrenaline waterpark activities.
