I just now found your new channel after the changeover from the homestead channel and am slowly watching some of the videos on here. Holy cow, I could not imagine making that move!!! I thought it was amazing when I flew into Canada from the US for the first time; that was peanuts compared to this! Love seeing your family's adventures. My wife and I are preparing for our first big move from Oklahoma to New York. While that is a big move across the USA, it barely even compares to your guys' move from BC to NS, let alone a move to South Korea! Thank you for showing us your adventures and giving us some courage to move ourselves! I am hoping that we can move again after being in New York for a bit. I'd really like to shoot for Ontario or Nova Scotia, which is why I found your homestead channel initially, and maybe even across the pond later on; who knows what we'll end up doing!? We get hesitant about doing it, but watching families like you guys do it gives us some courage and inspiration. Thank you!

Thanks Monika!! I can read the alphabet but I'm limited in the actual language. I know enough to get around pretty well though! Korea is very English friendly. I'm going to get out hopefully this weekend and film some of the island, I'm very excited!!

I just stumbled across your video. Could you please tell me a bit about your story? Why sell everything to move to Korea? Why Jeju? I feel like if you were going there to teach English you would be closer to Seoul. I am a Canadian of Korean ancestry (from Toronto) and am intrigued by your story. I think you mentioned you lived in Korea before. I studied for a while in New Brunswick and have always had a soft spot for those from Atlantic Canada--such kind and genuine people.

I don't know how long you gonna live in Jeju but there will be a costco in jeju by next year near gec area.

Whaaat?! Honestly, not having a Costco on Cape Breton Island was a huge pain point 🤣🤣🤣 have they broken ground? I love Costco ❤️

Actually, Costco will not be built until two or three years from now. So you are going to have to wait until at least 2025. I live around English Education City in Jeju and I literally read this news the other day in the Korean news article.
