Now, tell me why I still cried? TWICE?? I cried when you officially got the offer and when you called your parents. I have Kenyan parents and hearing their voice and how proud and happy they were for you, it honestly got to me. I pray God guides me to this position so that I can also give my parents this call! The process is so different than in the U.S as in some things are similar but the order of doing them is different. Here you get the offer first before even starting to look for having a realtor, of what the bank is willing to lend you. Then they do their due diligence later. If everything goes well you get your keys at the closing where both seller and Buyer sit down and sign documents with the lender.
