Rather than a bank I like the idea of community credit unions... Where locals make deposits into their local credit union, whatever excess funds remain in the credit union, the credit union has the ability to lend out to other members of their community...You elect you own credit union managers.... In developing regions your deposits don't even have to be currency..they could be food or goods your community produces.. then the credit union could pay you for them and broker them to buyers and use the profits to loan back into the community... Credit unions....it's similar to a banking system except everyone in the community has a say in how it operates..

We have credit unions in America... they're usually sponsored by labor unions or employees from large companies....all the employees deposit their paychecks, pay their bills, and whatever is remaining on deposit the credit union uses to give loans... I just figured Africans may not have much cash to build large banking systems but they can farm.... In America we import lots of latin American agricultural products especially in winter.... So....their credit union can pay them for their products..so their community has a bulk supply and we can buy them at a fair price...then their credit union can use the profits from the sale and give more loans out to members of their community....you can use that concept with almost any goods people produce.... You don't need a university degree to figure this sh*t out.. just pay attention and use common sense..using a community credit union to double as a goods broker solves lots of issues for developing communities.. they elect their own community managers... That keeps everyone on the level...and you vote periodically on the credit union board members...it's like a mini community economic system... Then when community credit unions work together with other community credit unions you achieve national level purchasing power...and build infrastructure..You don't need a stock market to build a country, stock markets are a scam for lazy investors...

Those aren't technically black owned banks. Those black banks are still under the system just follow where the money goes once it leaves the bank. You wonder why they really don't do anything more then traditional banks. It's a feel good thing but a true black bank owned bank would be reaching more black people who are in business for investment but they don't really do.

We diasporians need to stop apologizing for who God made us to be. We are black and others have to deal with it. African countries have the resources and the diasporians of the formely enslaved have a right to a homeland and the resource to prosper. Our inheritance that our ancestors are entitled to are waiting for us. Some countries are selling huge parcel of land to people who are not African because they have the money to buy it, yet those same people treat blacks/African badly. Let's not be devotional, we cannot think of a country where blacks are not disrespected and treated as under dogs. We should not be begging for what is rightfully ours. We have a diasporians chanel now we need a diasporian banking system and an organization that is serious about fighting ( legally, intellectually, spiritually and honestly) for what is rightfully ours. Did not Zimbabwe fought against unjust sanctions and got positive results? Racism will always be around but apportunity will not always be there. We decendants of the formally enslaved are not fussing at Africa, we are asking for a place of our own. Diasporians need to circumvent the world they want their children to inheritance. Not wondering most time, in this unjust world. We have a Just God on our side that gives us boldness and faith. Each ethnicity has a homeland they can go to. Some kept saying, 'go back to Africa", but it appears some part of Africa is still in bondage?.....mostly because of greedy people. The pain of injustice is heavy, we must drop that load. " you who have ears to hear, eyes to see and a heart to love.....hear what the Spirit is saying. We need our own home. Pray without ceasing.
