@@tripletcobbablethis is naive. Yes, a lot of bullies are as you’ve described, but it’s not like every kid would be a little angel with good parenting. Sometimes bullying is just in someone’s nature.
@bmetalfish39283 ай бұрын
@@tripletcobbable you operate under the assumption that humanity's naturally good and turns evil. There is no hard proof for that. there's a sizeable portion of every given population who'll do what they think they can get away with, and if teachers/parents think a kid cant possibly be a cunt, they'll act like a cunt until acting like one no longer appears to be a thing they can get away with. Your permissiveness and rationalisations directly lead to evil actions. Hobbes was right, Locke lived in a world where people under Hobbes constrained the worst of evils.

I confronted the teacher and she just laughed and said its just kids having fun. I managed to get a video of the incident courtesy of another kid (and 100 bucks). Let's just say everyone learned a very important lesson that day.

There is no such thing as a school without bullies. Some kids can do it in plain sight and still act like they're innocent. And if you force everyone to be nice to each other you get this environment of dishonesty where you don't really know who actually likes you or not. And when you complain about getting bullied you like the villain. This exactly what happened to me in middle school. In the school I was in before and after, they didn't expel their bullies because that only means they'll bully somewhere else. They kept them there so they could properly punish them and discipline them. And you if you were genuinely nice and not just a bootlicker, you were rewarded for it. That's the lesson kids need to learn. They have to deal with assholes and it's tough, but with enough persistence you'll their bad atitude catch up to them. Many of the bullies I had in that school grew up to be nice well adjusted people, while the bully I had in middle school will probably remain that same asshole for a long time.

I get where he's coming from but having bullies is not the answer. Life shouldn't be preparing kids, PARENTS should be preparing kids for life. My dad taught me how to fight from an early age and said to never start fights but if someone else starts one then I'd better finish it. He taught me confidence and how to carry myself and my Mom recognized that I had a compassionate heart and she taught me to remain true to myself and to never lose that. Bullies still came and went and that was still hard but I had something to fall back on because of the training my parents gave me. Parents should prepare you not bullies and if all parents trained their kids correctly there wouldn't BE any bullies (or Trump's) to begin with.

Here we go again, falling back to an idealist worldview. Shit happens. Some people do not have parents, some have terrible clueless parents themselves. He's not saying to encourage bullying. Bullies and jerks are a part of life at just about every age, but not all people have the ability to fight back successfully, some don't learn the rules to society like everyone else, not everyone is taught to stand up for themselves at home. Diamonds yes, but everything else is crushed. That said, humor wise he does have a good point. The problem is when a kid is the bullied by everyone and doesn't have the social understanding that everyone else does, some do deal with it and become successful, but it doesn't mean they are ok inside, or that they become well adjusted adults, if you don't deal with it in school, it will crush you later on in life eventually.

Some bullies wont back down even if you fight back...some times it ends up in permanent injury and jail time...i see bullying now as somebody trying to literally ruin another persons life for absolutely no reason...because you never know how it will escalate with physical or mental damage...i think bullies should have theyre lives ruined if they choose to keep doing it...some bullies are just ball busters. Others can literally ruin peoples lives. So IMO its drop dead serious from what ive seen and experienced.
