I'd agree with that - I'm also LFC. - I think Utd have been graveyard whistling for a little while now: actively ignoring the fact that we took a while to take in, that football _is_ cyclical and success is _not_ permanent. Those 'passion" players are important to both clubs and fans and for the best part of a decade, the team has arguably been overperforming. OGS's season end EPL position now looks positively miraculous and the arrival of Ratcliffe has been nothing short of disastrous. Nothing worse than a tax - dodging, penny-pinching billionaire who thinks he knows about football, coming in and shoving their weight around. For all their faults, (and they have many many of them) the Glazers did seem to have the sense to keep at arms length (at least that's how it appeared).

A club is nothing without fans. Drastic times call for drastic action. I think it's now time to boycott the club. It's the only way the rich owners will learn. Zero strategy, leaky roof's, mouse infestations & £66 tickets for this!! 😱 No way. You can still support the club without spending money on them & attending matches. INEOS are setting Amorim up for failure. If were Amorim, I'd say "I've seen enough- I'm going back to Sporting. Some basketcase's can't be helped". The club doesn't even have the respect for fans because they don't tell them anything. They don't tell fans future plans, or honest with what's happening. And when they do speak, they speak in riddles. It's disgusting!

Because Ratcliffe doesn’t want the working class fans that built that club. He wants the tourists who will pay £66 for each ticket, and who will raid the club shop for souvenirs after the game.

Wow. TalkSport has just lost all football credibility as far as I am concerned with the comment that Joshua Zirkzee is not good enough. The guy on the right clearly doesn't know anything about the player and makes a stupid comment like that. Just so people know, last season, Joshua Zirkzee was listed among the 'Serie A' best starting 11. He has barely been used correctly since arriving at United, but when used as the proper playmaking striker he is, he has lightening fast passing abilities. It is just unfortunate for him that Manchester United are going through a massive transition that is going to take time. Nobody in the media has any patience when it comes to Manchester United because they know United bring in the most money, and they want to see our electric attacking football again. Just you wait for next season.

Last caller made a really valid point....there is an extraordinary high expectation and pressure which comes with playing for united...and its not for footballing reasons, but we have destroyed both players and mangers careers overthe last 10 years - think relegation and a season or 2 in the championship would help remove that for a complete reset.

The divide at Old Trafford is stark, with tensions between players, fans, and owners threatening the club's unity. The owners appear focused on financial gains, leaving fans frustrated as they prioritize winning and loyalty to the club’s legacy. Players are caught in the middle, struggling to balance expectations from both sides. To bridge this gap, the owners must engage transparently with fans, demonstrating a commitment to the club's success on and off the pitch. Strengthening the club’s culture by fostering loyalty and uniting everyone under a shared vision is essential. Empowering players to connect with fans through events and initiatives can rebuild trust, while a renewed focus on on-field success through strategic investments and experienced management can bring the club back to its competitive best. Achieving unity will require collaborative efforts, but it’s a vital step toward restoring Old Trafford’s strength and legacy. INEOS have just added fuel to the fire with their cuts.

7:10 - united need to leave history behind, why do all their fans want to bring back Roy Keane and other greats to the club thinking that this will fix issues. No other team in the premier league have old players (legends) in their club at a big position. It’s shocking management decisions, they should know what type of squad they have and should know if Amorims style & set up with gel or nots. Amorim looks out of his depth, he hasn’t got the players for his desired system; so change the formation and system. Every top manager should be able to adjust and coach the players to make improvements. Amorim appears to have rubbed the players the wrong way, everyone looks upset and are clearly not playing for him. Rashford MU born but had never cares about the club .. Keane / Giggs / Scholes / Ferdinand / CR7 / Nani / Park / Ruiz all will be kicking each other to make sure MU does not loose
