A 9 to 5 can keep you out of trouble. A structured day can help you stay away from some bad habits that can creep up on you like eating or drinking too much✅‼️

I rather have a legit 9 to 5; then to be an unsuccessful entrepreneur! Nothing wrong with being self-made as long as you are generating great wealth!

I was talking about this in a Blackmen reddit group. Most of us would benefit from a degree or upgrading our education, instead of wasting countless hours and money on trying to build a side hustle. Side hustles only make sense economically if you’ve discovered unserved or underserved market. Or you’re making so much you can quit your regular job.

I work a 9 to 5, which is in my career, and manage several properties that I own. If it wasn't for my 9 to 5, buying those properties would have not been possible. I'm 36 and lived in the era where most fast money came from drug dealing and never ended up in a good situation. Using my 9 to 5 job for financial gain to purchase more assets and invest got me living GOOD!

Working a 9 - 5 is exhausting. You will be stressed, but to an extent at least somewhat financially comfortable depending on your field. It's no shame in it at all. The downside is a lot of youth want to be streamers or influencers and if they don't make it, they seldom have a plan b. Then end up job hopping & Ubering to make ends meet. It's unfortunate.

I don’t know how society is gonna do it, but the younger people need to be taught about the rules of each game and the long term consequences rather than them exploring that by themselves through trial and error. Because trial and error is only really valuable if the insight from it is passed on to someone so they don’t repeat the same mistakes

@@LordVodka313 I agree to an extent. They should be better prepared but trial and error works too. For example, when I started after school I worked over nights and quickly realized that it wasn't for me. Never applied to that kind of job again. Recently, I left a comfortable manger role in a respectable fortune 500 company. I was making BANK! The stress probably took a few years off of me. I'm 37 and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. What's the use of money if you can't be around to enjoy it. I left and now I am running my private practice full time. I'll get back to where I was financially in a good 6 months to a year. Got work/life balance & my family is able to maintain with no issues. I had to bet on myself and it's working just fine. Why work 40+ when you can make that in 24 to 32 hours? All the best.

The time you waste figuring out of you need a 9 to 5 or not, years are gonna past you by, and you wouldn't have accomplished anything with your life! Being an entrepreneur definitely requires work, time, and dedication.. I think people should do both until you can utilize one to make it work for your current situation‼️The ones that have kids, your kids come first, they gotta eat

For many people the 9 to 5 is equivalent to wage slavery. Long hours and low pay with very little share in the total profit of the company. I dont think people shame those who work 9 to 5.. we do what we have to do to make it

Main difference between a 9-5 and Business owner is the Business owner bill the customer directly, and the employee gets paid through a middle man (the business owner) who billed the customer. Technically we all should work for self, even in the Bible it was considered a low thing to be a servant and working to pay a debt. We supposed to be self sufficient and provide for ourselves, not serve our enemies in their businesses...Hint...we under the curses in the Bible Deuteronomy 28, Lewiticus 26, all the prophets, psalms, etc.

Most men do things for women. A guy doesn't want to work a 9-5 because most women look down on 9-5 jobs. So they try to be an "entrepreneur". A man would rather call himself an entrepreneur selling t-shirts than getting an engineering degree making $150k a year in a 9-5 job.
@truthiscensored
@truthiscensored 3 күн бұрын
But a man can make $150K or more a year selling t-shirts, if done right. Better to be in control of your salary than have another dictate and control it for you

@@truthiscensored your average music artist isn’t even making $150k/year off of merchandise. What makes think your average person will make that per year from T-Shirts. This is exactly what I’m talking about. It’s better to have a STABLE income. If you’re selling T-Shirts, there’s a very high probability that your income isn’t stable.
