Something worth mentioning with Fear the Spotlight is that the game already exists, it just isn't available for sale anymore. You can find gameplay of the game on youtube and I even still have it installed in my library, they just took it off the storefront as they are reworking the game with Blumhouse.

@@JeremyWoollen they're reworking the game with the help of Blum house. The game was good but it was pretty short (3h) and a bit janky in areas. The new version is supposed to be longer and better polished.

I know most horror fans don't like Blum House but no one can deny the impact it had in making horror movies main stream and now we're in a bit of a golden age for horror games. So many old franchises are coming back, or are already killing it. Not to mention the new original games too. I'm hopeful that this will be a good thing for the industry and I hope we get at least one good new game.

Meh, it's only the extremely online people that hate on that company. People online drool over a24 horror flicks but in terms of selling tickets blumhouse blows them out of the water and it's not even remotely close.

Personally imo, I think Blum house has a massive hit or miss when it comes to movies/tv shows so I’m very skeptical about these “indie” games. It’s okay for a major company to branch out into different types of entertainment but just be wary is all.

Yeah. Blumhouse WHOLE LOT IF QUANTITY over quality is a big red flag for me. But I'm still interested is a few if these games, and most of them where already being made before the purchase anyways. If they keep their "hands off, money in" mentality, we could get some actual bangers (since this kind of thing in the gaming world doesn't ALWAYS work the same way as "Hollywood's egomaniac horror director number 158922 new 30 minutes of jumpscares movie") Also. I dont give half a cow dung if they're AA, AAA or aAAAa. They just need to be good.

In my opinion, Project C and D feels like a try hard attempt at overhyping their games. I get it they want their games to stand out among hundreds of other games out there. But they could've just shown gameplay footage and let the game speak for itself instead of this gimmicky redacted information. It just screams "how do you do feĺow kids".
