There's over 1000 One Piece characters and screentime/paneltime can't be shared equally between them all. So the more important characters get more stuff to do, while the less important characters get less to do. That's why any straw hat that isn't Luffy, Zoro, Sanji or Jinbe get nothing to do.

By the logic of One Piece Clover didn't die when he got shot. According to Professor Hirluk, one dies when he's forgotten after his death and as long Vegapunk, Robin, and Dragon (plus everyone in O'Hara that survived) remembers Clover and forever respects he's work and the way he lived. That is what I believe as well. He was crying for the loss of his life work and all the knowledge they gathered. The loss of the life of all his friends around him. The will if D doesn't make one immune to sadness, as we have seen luffy cry at the loss and near loss of those he cares for, it is his own death he smiles at. To think Luffy would be laughing as his crew dies around him along with the sunny, is in fact, laughable.

I'm thinking time traveling Joy Boy. My quick theory: Toki sent Joy Boy into the future on Laughtale. She was trying to get to Wano because she wanted to prepare for his arrival, likely by getting Pluton ready for him. Roger was too early because he was literally too early for Joy Boy to come out of the time jump that Toki sent him on. She sent Emmet on a similar jump, which is why he suddenly appeared on top of the Red Line.

This doesn't quite work if Joyboy had Luffy's devil fruit. Joyboy would need to be 100% dead for Luffy to gain access to the fruit. However, I would entertain the notion that A) Toki sent the fruit itself into the future, hence how it eluded the WG for so long, and also how Shanks knew to steal it, since Roger would have told him when it would appear. And B) whatever is on Laugh Tale, is definitely arriving from the past.

@@FabbrizioPlays I think we just don't know enough about devil fruits still, because if someone is removed from time and sent forward to a new time the fruit could possibly still appear again without a true death granted i still don't know if i like the idea of joyboy or luffy being sent forward or backwards because it would feel like luffy's part in the story wasn't to do with freedom will but destiny which contradicts a lot of one pieces core message being freedom and while they might inherent wills aren't tied to it

I spoke to my cousin who’s fluent in Gaelige and he said that some regions pronounce it Clee-uv(that’s how I read it myself) but in Ulster they’d pronounce it “Clee-ooo”. I think Vegapunk Stella is still alive, though unconcious, Kizaru switched sides after all, burning Vegapunks fatal wound recived by Saturn. He said, he was going to die, if moved, but burning a wound is one of the oldest treatments, to prevent infection and stop the bloodloss. And 2nd I think a simple and possible idea for Kuma to get his memories back is for the strawhats to fight Blackbeard, as he's holding Pudding hostage, who should easily be able to take Kumas memories from Bonney and return them.

I think the crew splits up again; Zoro, Franky and Lilith confirmed to be together on one ship to Wano. Ussop and Robin to Elbaf forsure. The rest might go where will best benefit their story arc. Maybe some to visit Dragon and Sabo. Some might infiltrate Beehive island to save Garp (Luffy, Jinbei and Bonney?). Another group go to the man marked by flames?? I’m saying this cuz everyone need another power up/training arc. This to figure out a weakness to the Gorosei. And the story needs time to develop the beginning of the strawhat grand fleet and the future enemies (other pirates, Imu & God Knights, and more Blackbeard lore). A reunion like Team 7 in Naruto please.

I think the more souls a homie absorbs, the more human they become. Misery also had a kind of Haguromo scarf similar to awakened Zoan users. The Gorosei also have Haguromo scarves and were introduced as "yokai", not df users. Yokai in Japanese myth are often times just possessed, living objects. And we know there are animal type homies... I think it's entirely possible that the Gorosei are Nika's crew mates, and their captain was the first soru soru no mi user, who created all of them. Saturn did recognize Nika as if he had seen him personally.

My prediction for the upcoming chapter: - The chapter involves more of everyone's rxn to Roger's name, which also includes more cameos, as well as Buggy himself. - Kuma tries to take action against Saturn, whether or not he will be saved. - The SH reunite on the Sunny. - VP reveals the last part of his message, including the name of the Ancient Kingdom. - No break next week.

A few theories for fun: 1) "The worst generation" could be in regards to this time loop playing out. Each time a world ending event happens, Imu jumps back and tries again. This "generation" has been the most chaotic and unpredictable in terms of players on the field. Luffy getting the Nika fruit instead of someone else (Bonney in another timeline.) Which begs the question. Shanks was already strong when Luffy was a kid, likely had observation haki, but maybe something prevented him from seeing Luffy eating it. While initially upset, he realizes he must have been a fate thing, just like him with Roger. 2) Zoro's lack of direction is because he's a human compass that only works at a certain place or during a certain event. Everywhere else, he's like an animal that uses the magnetic poles to navigate and gets thrown off when it goes wonky the same reason they need the special compasses to navigate.

I think Emeth mistaking Luffy for Joy boy is an indication of how much we don't know about devil fruits. It feels like devil fruits bestow more than just powers, but seem to be a genetic black box that carries a signature down the line across time and space.

Time Travel? No thank you! That is a recipe for disaster. Id rather stick with the present. As for Toki's time travel powers, I like to think its more of a time seal that releases the target from a hidden stasis after a specific amount of time, rather than straight up traveling to the future.

I like the idea that Vegapunk decided to make Atlas look like Ginny after seeing Kuma's memories. I imagine it made him furious and he needed a way to deal with that anger and that inspired Atlas' creation. This makes me want to see Atlas punch Saturn that much more.

Theory for the next chapter- starts out with Saint Ethan about to attack Bonny and Kuma. Bonny, too scared to move, cry’s out “SAVE ME, DADDY”. Her devil fruit activates but not for her. Kuma is transformed back to its prime self (before becoming a cyborg). Realizing the situation, he latches on to Saint Ethan and gives Bonny a real goodbye as a person before sacrificing himself to eliminate one of the Elder Stars.

Maybe someone from the past bought a very injured joyboy in the present but when they arrived here Joyboy became a baby and Dragon happens to be there and adopt said baby that is now Luffy. Cus i still have doubts how Dragon's ugly ahh created that magnificent boy.

Im not sure about time travelling luffy, unless they possibly find the new user of the time time fruit with an awakened form allowing the user to choose weather it is back in time or forward in time but I've been thinking that the crew might be finding the remains of the joy boy crew, with zunesha being chopper stuck in monster point, and emet being Franky with battle franky.

Atlas' appearance tribute to Ginny theory is fire. In addition, Atlas' inspiration were probably because of Ginny, with Large guild like Kuma, Hair of Bonney and Ginny, and White Hair for Bonney's Nika Transformation.

For my the “why” could be that vegapunk was so moved by the memories and what was going on she became the personification of just what was wrong with the world gov and a constant reminder of the terrible acts they committed fueling his angry side
