Doncaster for playoffs 100%. Doncaster have won 8 in a row, 6 of which have been clean sheets. They have won 11 out of their last 15 matches and lost onky once in that period. They look unstoppable now. City would need an absolute miracle which I cant see. Nevermind even winning the playoffs, this team isn't capable and would go straight back down next season.

I think platt has been great this season. Defence always seems stronger when he is there. Gilliead odour in places.. but for me. Halliday all day long.

When Smallwood doesn’t play we don’t play that well without set pieces he’s a good player the fact he does are set pieces lets him down

Spot on Damian - he is a good ball winner and if we have a corner I would put him just outside the box as he has a hard shot. Also I'd play him as DM and tell him to play simple passes. Walker and Pointon have the skills to play through balls.

Volume much better now thanks Korban. We won't make play offs. During the 4 games lost in a row we only had 1 natural CB and it definately cost us. GA gets my respect cos he never used it as an excuse. GA's win ratio is 46.3% and if he sustains that we will end up in the top 7 next season so some hope for next season. I would keep Smallwood cos he's a ball winner but take him off set pieces.

If you think how bad weve been this season...Then look at table and know that 6 more wins and we would be a point behind Mansfield fighting for top 3. Seems like this season top 3 wasnt that hard to achieve if we werent as bad as we have been.

Like you said “there is always a chance” but honestly I don’t want to get to the playoffs. What do we want from the playoffs-we want to go up but this isn’t the season:if we somehow managed to win the playoffs city are always coming straight back down. We made the playoffs last season and I lied to myself that just cus we made the playoffs we should of been up there again(I predicted 3rd at the start of the season). We need to start next season with as little hype as possible because as we have seen this season when the pressure increases the team crumbles. Anyway, my player of the season is Halliday. 🐓🐓

Great point it would also relax sparks and Rupp into thinking everything is ok and no work needs doing dont think we will because of like you say we go on the run and somewhat bottle it at end but it would be weird as last season we were up there all season this one ot would be inconsistent all season but a last ditch push weve done it before

Brad has had a good season because he's moved to wing back. He is poor at heading so last season was exposed from cross field passes, ultimately targeted by Carlisle in the play offs. Far too many goals conceded on Brads side last season, if you cam be bothered go check. But his fitness and willingness to run suits him more at wing back. He's not the greatest crosser but his enthusiasm makes him pots for me despite my aforementioned weaknesses

Tbf imagine if Alexander hadn't frigged about with the team too much. Even fearing the Grimsby long throw when the stats showed they hadn't scored all season and their set pieces outcome was poor. Even just those 2 points against a poor team would have given us a chance
