Yaaaay you came to my city! Hope you had a wonderful time here, the weather has been wonderful this week (a little too hot). It is right that you must "callejear" (walk the streets) and go a little deeper than the touristic sites and look for older (and even dirtier) places that are usually best than the fancy ones, and way much cheaper! Also, fun fact, we call "chiringuito" to every single "bar" that you can find in every beach (the ones that are in the sand), it doesn't mind how it is actually called, we are on the beach and we say "I'm going to the chiringuito to get some drinks", I think it's an Spanish extended way to call them. Thanks for sharing your lovely experience , always so respectful and thoughtful to know other cultures, really proud you too came to visit, you're both lovely, as usual.

This was brilliant to watch we used to holiday in Sitges every year as a child. We used to travel by train and as a child it was a real adventure especially having our supper on the sleeper train sat on our couchette bunks, which we had to share. Always an argument as to who would get the night light or the window end, lol. I’d love to do that journey again. We never had a car though which I’d love to do and explore the surrounding area. Highly recommend the Festa Mayor 23/24 august this year, great processions through the streets and whooping great firework display. Thanks again for a great video 😊

OMG!, I got emotional with this vlog. I'm spanish, my family and I lived in Barcelona and my parents had a second residence in Sitges for our family vacation. My memories from Sitges are wonderful. We had a fabulous time there. Thanks for this!, big hug from Girona where I actually live with my husband. We used to go for a beach day in Garraf with my friends 10 years ago and would love to go back for a day. ⛱️ In regards the food (this isn't any way a personal dig at you or Charlie), never trust food advice from a Brit. 🙈 I have been personally so many times disappointed when a British person telling me about a place that has "amazing food". The food usually is barely decent in these places. As an European, I have noticed that there is a big difference in food quality and standard of food between Europe and UK. Of course if you're used to certain standard then you don't know better and even low quality of food might taste amazing to you. As a foreigner living in UK, I still miss the good local restaurants that you can pretty much find anywhere else in the Europe. I'm not big foodie but I would any day take local restaurant than a 3 star Michelin restaurant.

I went to Barcelona with some friend over 20 years ago, we actually stayed on La Rambles, right at the beginning. Our flights were £1 each return. They were doing a special offer in the evening standard and I managed to get 4 tickets. We did not realise how iconic that road was, that was where we were introduced to Zara (as it was nearby) in the early 2000's, before it was even known in the UK. That was a trip (interesting trip)

My best memory of Las Ramblas was finding an authentic little restaurant which was heaving but they managed to find us a small table for 2 upstairs where my husband had a rabbit stew and I ate the best, most delicious Paella of my life - served in its own little cast iron skillet with all the crusty bits on the bottom. In the US, they smooth the sand as well. Visually it is beautiful when you come to a perfectly smoothed out beach. I do not know if it is "just for looks", but we do it. I do not think we use a tractor though.
