Great victory and even better seeing you get through opening . I opened for the best part of 10 years and it never gets any easier. Nothing worse than batting first, getting a duck and then spending the next 3 hours watching everyone else get runs. That happened for three consecutive games for me one year! Fielding at fine leg makes up for it though :(

We said the same thing on Saturday . These tracks really teach you to play late and not with a cross bat . That is if you want to survive

@@mysidecricket County cricket has got so boring because the pitches they play on are so flat. There has to be some sort of battle between bat and ball. Suspect that it's all about trying to get 5 days out of a test match for financial reasons.

Village cricket is soul destroying. Horrible wicket with an outfield that resembles a cow grazing field. Congratulations on the runs. If I could see you bat I would give you feedback. Maybe next time give the GoPro to the other batsman or the umpire. Best wishes.

It wasn’t pretty batting ! Gritty I like to call it! Just try to survive those first 15 balls and then took a few more risks . Back lift still to low , my head isn’t still enough early I. The innings especially when flicking ( missed out on lots of easy runs). Fitness is an issue 😆 I’ll try and get a side camera at some point

Watch the ball. Keep your head still, and watch it out of the hand, down the wicket, and past you. Practice that.
