I agree that Country Cottage is one of the best buffets I've eaten at. Can't wait until we make the drive from Denver to Springfield MO in the spring so we can stop there again! Drove by the lake where you camped and it's such a beautiful area. When our kids were little we did lots of camping, moving from one base assignment to another. I have a great hack for dyer sheets. Buy LIQUID softener (we like Gain) take a washcloth pour the softener onto the washcloth and throw it in the dryer. Then just keep it in the dryer and refresh it about every 5th load.

I went to a laundromat with a comforter that was too big for my washer but it was way more expensive than $4 to wash. Also you had to pay with a credit card. I was really shocked how much it cost to use a large washer and dryer.

We always took sleeping bags and large bedding stuff to the laundromat. Save wear and tear on home machines. I never use fabric softener. If you read the precautions on the label backs it voids out the fire safety of kids night clothes and it affects even bath towels to absorb as well. It just puts a flammable waxy coating on the fabric to keep the fibers from breaking down as quickly. I use dryer balls instead. You can even ball up some aluminum foil to use. Never knew it until I read the warning label on the back of the fabric softener bottle.

The big washers at laundromat are great for blankets and sleeping bags. Ive done that a few times. When I done the blankets off my king size bed. Sheets will go in my regular washer but the blankets are a bit much

Laundry mats are so expensive! But, with all you had was easier to do it that way. Our dad would go to auction but a steer tie them in the barn and put the grain to them. Very tender meat. Oh, we did raise a steer one time.
