Collectors don't necessarily make the best businessmen, and this is a glowing example. The new owner of the store seems like a good lad, but would be frustrating to deal with. It's his prerogative, of course, to sell his cards for whatever price he 'feels', but his unwillingness to let go of his stash gives the public more the impression that he's operating a free museum, more than a viable profit-based business. I wish him the best of luck. As always, thank you CC team for the upload. 👍

When your dealing with someone who does not need the money, probably is operating his shop of walk in buys and stuff in his collection he does not hold dear as much, your not buying at 60% of comps ever. 80 was not really on the table. better qualifying questions and letting them walk the path works best typically. Asking eBay prices is delusional because you aren't counting the fees, time and postage and handling. (And the fact that you can lose everything you send if a customer says item not as described and eBay will give them a immediate refund and you will get nothing in return including your merchandise. ) Also: People order $50.00 and up items and cancel the order immediately... eBay gives them a immediate refund out of your account and you have to wait for their payment but they can cancel any card order and rob you completely. ⚠️ Dealt with it all and never again will I use eBay as a selling platform.
