Gave me a great idea! I love your pvc pipe set up for water and food. Im thinking i can use capped metal or plastic gutters and drill holes the same way, but ill connect it to the gutters on the coop so itll be rain water instead of having to fill up. Thank you! Im going to check out the rest of your page!

I started with 1 chicken that was kept with roosters i got her for free and she kept laying for 2 weeks and went broady i gave her back her eggs 12 and 11 hatched that was 8 months ago now i got more then 90 and god knows how much quail 😂😂😂 they are super easy to multiply i could probably get more than 160 more by the end of the year if i want but cant handle that much i am keeping it under 100 on purpose

Just found your channel. We have (6) 20 week old chicks. Rhode Island Red & wydonette. They'll eat the cheap feed, which turns out to be mostly dust (waste of money). So, I've been slowly introducing them to feed with the good stuff (corn, seeds, peas, etc). Hopefully, they will adjust and start eating it. Then again, we probably winded up with finicky eaters 🐔 😞 😂
@Ludlamfamilyfarm2 ай бұрын
Congratulations on your new chickens. I hope you enjoy them. We started with 20 and we just kept getting more because we loved them so much! Ours eat just about anything. Lots of food scraps and I cook them peas, beans, lentils and pasta. It ends up being much cheaper and in my opinion better for them. We do give about 4 bags of food a week because it is much more convenient. They also forage several acres.
