They charge less for straight sizes bc they do use a MERE few inches less fabric(as if that's some large fucking difference). Go to a fabric store, buy a few inches more and tell me that it's going to be at least $10 more - it's not(my family makes their own clothing a lot). I agree it would be an interesting video, though we already know it's not justifiable ♡

Honestly from their pinned comment it seems buzzfeed probably had an affiliate deal with amazon. Which is great and fine, I just feel like there was no point to the video outside of that because wearing a jacket of your choice and saying it’s cool is a simple recommendation video. It’s just not the content I expect from ladylike.

That coincided with having to do two videos a week. But they are responsible for coming up with their own ideas. Plus they have to do a certain amount of marketing. If they can't come up with ideas they like, they know who is responsible. That's why I don't see them doing any better if they left BF. They still have to come up with ideas.

Am I the only one who thinks they’re missing an into to the video? It seems like they recorded an intro and just didn’t end up putting it in the video. Usually they’d be like “Jackets: virtually everyone has one, but how affordable are they really? This is LadyLike and we’re trying affordable jackets from Amazon!” (Just making an example of the top of my head). Instead we just get a “Our jackets are here!” Like they usually they explain why they’re doing this. Compare this vid to the one where they buy dresses from amazon for the magic castle.

I love Ladylike as a group and their earlier videos were great but this video was just not it. It seemed rushed and it just wasn't holding my interest. What was the budget that they kept referencing? What was the reason for them buying these jackets? It would have been a much more interesting video if they had a budget of $50 and had to buy a Winter jacket because they were travelling to a country with a cold climate; instead of just, going ice skating. It just feels like their buying things on Amazon and filming it so that they can use Buzzfeed's $$$ to fund it.

Jen's jacket is super cute and is surprisingly warm enough for an ice rink. Kristen's jacket is really cool and something I'd totally wear. Devin's jacket makes her look like an adorable sheep

I do like these videos, but amazon are quite problematic and whilst I get that most people use it, it's not a very interesting video. The quality over the past few months of the videos has been disappointing to say the least. You guys used to come up with original videos, but recently it's mainly been copies of the same ideas, or very short videos. Please do the more original videos again, I miss them!

I think Amazon asked Buzzfeed to review some stuff & the girls jumped on the chance. I wish they had a fun rating system or something. Amazon is also an odd choice b/c it's a distributor, not a brand-we've learned through many Buzzfeed articles/videos, you can get some decent and variable some poorly made clothes on Amazon.

For best results ice skating, keep your knees bent a bit! It helps keep your center of gravity where it needs to be, and makes the actual skating easier (also, "nose over toes" helps a lot too).

So yes they're quite literally trying to make whatever will get their following to watch, which most of Ladylike is about fashion and such. It always has been.. but they started doing some investigative stuff at one point and now people think that's all this channel is supposed to be. I only watch for the girls commentary, they're always hilarious.
