Completely unrelated, but I was in Vegas this weekend, and walked by a Kate Spade store in Caeser's Palace. There was a very cute lady inside that locked eyes with mine. She saw that I was smiling, and she smiled back, waving. It's better that she didn't know why I was smiling, I'm sure. Shoutout Dan Gheesling

To explain why e12 and e12 don't make an e14, it's a bit like how 100 plus 100 does not make 10,000. You get 200. To put it another way, e14 is incredibly huge compared to e12. You can't get there by adding more e12s to it, not with the amount of hands you get to play in this game. You gotta multiply and there was no way to get more multiply because all your multiply is coming from your hand size and the retriggering steels. Since your hand size wasn't increasing, neither was your e12. If you had like another few steels in hand (not possible) your hand would have been worth some e14. There is just a hard limit to how fast that particular deck can scale, and it hits a wall when you've already got all the red seal steels maxed out. There's nowhere to go without a different set of jokers to boost that. Nothing you did wrong, that's basically as far as you can go with planets and steels like that, you'd need different jokers making more X mult for you to go higher. Also, planets aren't doing much for you at that scale, you eat a bunch of planets and you might get to e13 but it happens too slowly, the game's dumping e numbers on you at that point and planets scale additively. Adding plus 2 over and over again is not going to get you over the gaps when the gaps start being 10,000 times the previous chip goal. Now that 2 is getting multiplied a lot but it still ends up being a tiny decimal compared to how much the rest of your value is. it's like giving you 1 percent of your value, and you're adding 2 to that. It's not scaling well, and it never will. The best kinds of scaling don't really involve popping the planets, but having hundreds of them as negative consumables in your consume slot, with the telescope vouchers, both. Popping the planets work well before you get to e territory, but they're kinda worthless after that. You want x mult, you want more retriggers. one of the way you get more x mult is when you get perkeo making negative planet cards for you, and perkeo is getting copied like five times, so perkeo is adding the hand you're scoring with x2 (or 1.5 I can't remember) x2 x2 x2 x2 and he's adding THAT every round. What's more, your big big score added together with (2 times 1,000), or your big big score x2 x2 x2 x2 x2? The answer is Perkeo and negative planet cards. The more x2 you get over and over the more you scale. adding is nothing compared to multiplying, basically.

For the scoring hand of 1.947e15 to reach 1.300e17 is 67 hands of the same score. That is how far the difference is. the number after the E is how many 0s are at the end, the difference between those two numbers is huge.

Amazing run! You may know this but 1.3e17 is 130000000000000000. and 1.947e15 is 1947000000000000. They look similar but compare them this way: 130000000000000000 1947000000000000 Another way to think about them is to divide them both by 1000000000000000 and compare them: 130 2 (rounded) This better represents how much bigger the other number is. You'd basically need about 65 hands at the value of your first hand to achieve the score to beat the round.
