What a glorious surprise. So glad I took this street on my walk. We went to Jack's Wife Freda yesterday and I ALMOST didn't. Then I heard the bass and thought "That could be Marc ... wait is that Marc ... my GOD THAT IS MARC THIS IS HOW WE'RE SPENDING THIS AFTERNOON." After paying mad money to see him at the Greek in LA, here was the best show for free. Hahaha.

I think we’re all like the girl on the pole at 7:33. She heard the sounds, stopped, and knew she was in the right place. Stayed for the entire performance. While watching this I kept telling myself I’d check it out for another couple minutes before watching something else. I simply couldn’t leave and knew I was in the right place as well 😂 I watched those “next couple minutes” for 2 hours straight. This was awesome.

I mean did they not have any plans at all? And there was no mention of how long it would go on for. They just committed. All of them. Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Was having a pretty tough day and this soothed me so much after some earlier crying and sharing with buddies. Beautiful end to my challenging journey of a day. What an amazing random experience! Came out of the Subway with my son and knew it was marc in a second. We sat down in front early on so the people behind us could see! The LOVE needed to be shared and blocking everyone behind us wasn't sharing the love! Also - I don't think he ever said his name and the only promotion was the artists around him. So the grooving crowd was either fans that knew him or people he just converted. Like that lady in long coat and scarf on the right!

1:06:30-1:10:00 This... is why classical instrumentalists get up and play. Nearly 2 months on, and this virtuoso violinist and Marc STILL reduce me to tears of JOY. Go Vartan! You lived a dream, and complimented another virtuoso with such passion and timbre. Edit: I see the live comments. Some say it "took too long". All I say to this... if you're a musician in the TRUE sense, you will KNOW... it takes time for each person to cook. Not just Marc. Between this young man and Gabriel Richards, the Drum group in Ep 7... ...New York NEVER dissapoints. Never once. Not once, 'cept when it did. Then it came back. Thank you for it all, Marc and co.

Tonight I finally gave myself permission to be creative musically and be myself without needing the permission of anyone cause the only person that needs to give me permission is me. Seeing Marc just go, no limits, no boundaries, letting his soul and all his senses speak and being random and goofy spoke to me incredibly deeply. And encouraging people to join him was even better. Thats the exact person I am. I did vocals laying in my bed ive never done before because I let go of the fear of judgement, mainly judgement from myself and my own fears. Seeing what my heart and soul can do by just speaking and singing without any expectations is so funny and beautiful. I love all of you ❤

Watching the progression of the people gather around and vibe adds a whole new element to this art form. The first 3 people to show up (of which was the rapper on the bike) stayed throughout the whole set, and I watched their evolution. This was goddamn epic. Vartan's performance was one of the most beautiful things I've heard in a long time. That was coming from a very special place within him, and I won't forget it. Thank you for what you're doing Marc. It's inspiring. It helps us keep going. And it reminds us to BE WHO WE ARE. 💜💜

Yeah stopped back into the comments after watching the stream - Marc's treatment of Vartan's performance was so point. It was like a chef letting the best ingredient speak volumes for the dish he was cooking. Vartan's performance was so moving, fragile, and a beautiful complement that lived on even after he'd had finished.

Please EVERYONE...please, when you can all put on Malta and crank that shit up....sing from your hearts and feel that sweet sweet love!!!
