I’ve noticed these past few months that Safiya still makes videos like she’s at buzzfeed. I’ve noticed it in other KZbinrs who’ve left buzzfeed too. It must be exhausting planning out every little post, having to do a ton of research for every video, and making super high quality videos like her and Ty do. I feel bad that they feel like they have to explain themselves on why they look tired and what color eye shadow they are wearing. Ty even said they had a TikTok scheduled to come out. That must be so tedious. I wish they could just relax and not feel like they need to do all of that.I would watch anything they posted. I literally watched Jenna marbles take a nap. It doesn’t need to be that serious all of the time.
@Emerald-t7k3 жыл бұрын
Having a schedule keeps everything organized and flowing though and if you don't make quality content less people will watch especially if the quality goes down. And the makeup was a teaser to promote the tiktok. I do kinda agree that they do a lot of research which I appreciate but not everyone wants.
@rboyle67063 жыл бұрын
@@Emerald-t7k that's just so obviously not true though. having a strict schedule that they are trying to adhere to and putting out exclusively really well manicured videos obviously hasn't worked for them. i love saf's channel but she hasn't posted consistently in basically years and recycles a lot of ideas with mixed results to say the least. if what you were saying were true, we wouldn't see that. i think they would really benefit from relaxing a bit, as we see in these live streams which are basically just for fun and have already been more consistent than the regular videos.

@@rboyle6706 "hasn't posted consistently" meaning they weren't following the schedule which Is why it didn't work.
@ricktastica3 жыл бұрын
I mean they keep underestimating the scale of what they need to do to accomplish what they want to produce, edits may fall through, they may need longer times to get the coverage that they need, various other factors that kind of surpass the schedule
@Emerald-t7k3 жыл бұрын
@@ricktastica they create the schedule though its not like she's still on buzzfeeds time if they need more time for that stuff they need to make more time for it. I love safs content as much as the next person. They could produce one high quality video a month and it would still be fine. A week or two to research a day or two to actually shoot and another week to edit. Lately I don't blame them at all for sporadic videos. With the pandemic and then moving across the country that is a lot to work around.

Sometimes KZbinrs seem to forget or not be aware that what draws subscribers to them is mostly personality and only to a lesser extent production value... Haven't watched the full stream, but to clearify: Scandinavia = Denmark, Norway, Sweden. The Nordics = Scandinavia, Finland, Iceland. Also, I'm pretty sure Safiya's two A-s in her name is just because the english language does not use Å, or it's just the old spelling of Å - so it has nothing to do with Finland's multiple vouwels.

You guys remind me of those famous radio couples from the time before tv. A time when our great grandparents sat around the radio listening to comedy shows and radio plays. I’m a huge fan and just adore you two. Keep the videos coming! 😆😁😄😃😀😍🥰😘

Came back after the live just to say I loved this one! Usually not a live stream lover, they are rambly and last far too long but this was truly fun. Thank you! 😝

I have some time to chill from learning for exams now so I went on yt and found this record and thought "Saf and Tyler playing Geoguesser, there might be my country, let's watch it..." and in the first seconds of seeing the graffiti I was like "This looks like my country already!" and a few seconds later I was sure it was Karlovy Vary and it was really funny to hear you saying that and then I looked at the chat and the people there were writing it wrong so it wasn't your fault. :D This made my day, thanks.
