I'd say it's all part of the game. How the question is asked and how the person who answers chooses how to answer can really throw you for a loop. It's impossible to remember every detail of each pokemon. It's also easy to miss a small detail like eye color. I'm sure they each looked at them well at the pokemon after asking a question to mark them off. It's a really neat concept because you can't predict much

The higher number dice have more rewards but also more chances at disadvantages, while the D4 can be as simple as left, center, right, or you choose

I have a concept for a video... Spin a wheel to get 3-4 typing, and that's all you can catch. 15min timer. Anything dual type containing both of your typings, gets buffed. Failure to obtain 1 dual type containing 2 of your typing, a pokemon gets a debuff. Twist these rules however you wish.

Round 3 literally baffled me why neither of them chose Eevee. Sure, as far as strength is concerned, none of the eevee line are spectacular. But you can evolve it into mostly decent types and get STAB bonuses based on whatever you need. If your opponent puts together a team with a crippling grass or fire weakness, sure, Leafeon and Flareon aren't amazing, but just having that coverage can be useful. And because it's base Eevee, you can literally choose ANY evolution that benefits you. Have a team that's mostly physical attackers? Grab an Espeon, Glaceon, or Sylveon. Most of your team is pretty fragile and you need a decent defender? Vaporeon and Umbreon exist. It's basically a wild card of moderate strength that your opponent can't even plan around since you could bring literally any evolution; the only way to work around it would be to be prepared for ALL of them, meaning they might waste space on moves for types you may not even bring to the match.
