Make an electric tenor drum with electric drum pads from electric drum sets, then change the sound of the drums so it sounds like a cow mooing or virtually anything. That would be very cool.

You don’t know how long I’ve waited for this video! I was so curious to see what the video was going to be about when I saw you recording the solos at the Spring Ford HS comp! I feel like you being there was such a great experience because for once it felt like in some way I was a part of one of your journeys, seeing that performance with all of the solos and the fantasy themed performance. It was also such a unique experience with hearing everyone in my drumline go mad (ESPECIALLY my band director) over the excitement of seeing our drum idol and everybody literally hunting you down just for a picture (I was that shy guy in the nasa sweatshirt that took a picture with you and two other people when you were standing in front of the auditorium and stayed for a second picture by myself, Having to take two pictures because my hand was shaking. I came back 5 minutes later (same place btw) with like 10 people and i was just standing there with an awkward smile). As a band kid that doesn’t main percussion, even though I was clueless with indoor percussion, and the fact that it was my first (and probably last) indoor season, I feel like that day will still forever be one of my favorite band memories in high school.

Would you consider a piano a purcustion instrument since it’s kid of the same as marimba
@ferretyluv2 жыл бұрын
In the instrument family system you’re taught since elementary school, pianos are considered percussion (specifically, percussion string instrument) since you’re banging on the wires. Others put pianos in their own category of keyboard instruments, including the harpsichord. However, the Hornbastel-Sachs system classified pianos as chordophones along with zithers, harps, violins, and guitars. In this system, mallet instruments like marimba and vibraphone are considered idiophones (basically, every percussion instrument except drums). Eric went to music school, so he could give you better information.
