Love seeing you boys play one of my home courses. Been a rough summer up here for conditions, but glad you guys got to see some of the state.

The guys at Settler's have done an insane job this year keeping the greens in even half decent shape. With the amount of record rain we have had this year, they have really put their all into it. I hope you guys get to come back one day and play on a bluebird day when its 70 degrees out, and those greens are rolling at like a 10 or 11 stimp. Awesome to see you guys playing my home track!

I live in anchorage. All the courses have been struggling with the crap weather we have had this summer. Have only Broke into the 70’s a handful of times. Normally the conditions are a better. Season normally runs from the first week of June to mid October depending on snow melt and when it starts snowing

welcome to golfing in ak, lol, greens are entirely at the whim of how our breakup goes (winter to spring) this year was horrible with some really really late snows, and then no sun for like 2 months. Setlers does have on adv our best greens, Debatably, AGC (in anch) is the nicer adv course, and their greens this year are def kicking off, and it's a way more punishing course.

I don't know when you plan on getting to the northeast, but when you get to NH I really hope the choice is The Shattuck. They remove their back tees, so it's only a set of blues remaining... but it's an amusingly difficult track. With about as many bridges as I've ever seen on a course.
@zamboughnuts Жыл бұрын
I feel like the guys are gonna play Mount Washington, since it's the top rated public course in the state. Maybe Owl's Nest. But from everything I've heard about The Shattuck... That would be a treat to see.
@isaac6705 Жыл бұрын
@@zamboughnuts It would be genuinely hilarious. It's a brutal course. I've played it twice. It kicked my ass the first time, and made be play like a complete coward the second. If they still had the black tees... good lord. I wouldn't be surprised to see some really high scores. That's a course you need to play a few times.

Okay this video just gave me visual proof of why I have to hit the range before playing every single time. MadJack startin with two duffs and Nutt not getting green in reg on a 430 par 4 gives me all the reason I need to range before play. Lose 3-5 strokes when I don’t now that I realize it
