One of the best covers I've seen of this song. Gotta say, your tone sounds spectacular. God bless you, man!!

As a professional session keyboardist, I believe that you are an excellent, top tier guitarist and, somewhere in the professional music scene, there is most surely a place for you. Hope you find it. EXCELLENT job.

Your covers are awesome! Where do you learn how to play these songs?
@JoeMcDaniel4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I use RehearsalMix from Multitracks.com to hear the guitars isolated and then learn the parts by ear.

@@JoeMcDaniel Do you have to pay to use Multitracks.com?

great video, but would be SUPER helpful to pan the parts left and right so we can hear the separate parts.
@JoeMcDaniel4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Andrew! That helps me, because I just don't know what the best is for people to hear and learn from: mixing them like the song, or panning them hard left and right. This one, I did pan them a little bit, but not all the way.

@@JoeMcDaniel I was going to say, I can hear them panned a bit and it makes them distinct parts to my ear. Bottom shot is right and top view is left.

Walrus Audio Deep Six JHS Superbolt Mzo.Effects Ohm JHS Kilt V1 TC Electronic Sub n Up Strymon Timeline Note: The reverb and modulation sounds are coming from the Kemper
@JoeMcDaniel4 жыл бұрын
IMO the new Kemper reverbs get about 90% of the way there compared to the Strymon stuff, while the delays probably get about 80% of the way. There are some very good sounding reverbs on the Kemper. They can get in the same ballpark as a Big Sky. The difference to me, was that the Big Sky could be set way more wet while still being clear, was a little more lush, had better modulation, and also reacts a bit differently. The delays, I didn't really connect with for some reason. The Timeline adds so much thickness, and the repeats sound amazing. I found the Kemper delays to be thinner sounding, and they also modulated very oddly. Still very usable though.
