It makes me wonder how many "pre-emptive interviews" we have on telly. It's clearly standard practice based on how comfortable these people were to accept this interview, and as someone working at an entry level in the media I genuinely had no idea. They were clearly responding to questions put to them and it is their job to find out ALL they can about members of the Royal Family and as Meghan was the new flavour of the month - (that is very common terminology btw, to describe someone or something which is new and people can’t get enough of, which is exactly how the British ppl responded to her until she showed her true self) - they will have done a lot of research and at her and commented on a lot of the interviews she did, so they possibly were more qualified than any other group of ppl outside of direct family / friends groups, to respond to the questions asked......and in my opinion you wudve definitely thought they had seen the interview and fully directed it before commenting, that’s how close they were to the actual interview

There was a lovely documentary about Harry and Meghan's Africa tour and in that prince Harry did say about him and his brother, didn't sound terrible, he was even laughing, (I'm an only child but I'm sure siblings have arguments now and then lol) then the news comes on straight after and they twisted his words and report there's a major rift between him and William. Well actually in the video most of what they said was incredibly generalised based on what they currently knew and would expect from the interview. Many of the comments were actually on mark such as "admired the queen, but not the institution" etc. This video doesn't show "bias", but rather that they are willing to give an opinion on something they don't know about. Whether accurate or not. It does show a lack of journalistic integrity, but then these people are not journalists, so I wouldn't expect any, anyway, they're essentially paid opinion pieces.

However, I do agree that having not seen the interview such a statement is going too far. Although, this is the only statement in the whole video like this. I do not think this shows therefore that all of the commentators were bias in favour of the institution. Bar that statement the comments were not disparaging, but rather generalised statements about what might have been said, and as you can see in the video they were asked whether they thought they knew how the interview would go, and one of them responded "I think I have a pretty good idea". I think many people could rightly predict in a very generalised fashion of what might be said in the interview or portrayed, as it was advertised enough as a "tell all interview" -which basically means "we're going to gossip about how bad the RF is".
