We Put a Flat Bed and Canopy on a Tacoma!

Why o why do this to a Ute that comes with a bed from the factory? We have to do it down under because most Utes do not come with a factory bed standard ! I see there’s a lot of stupidity because it’s lifts the weight of it ones load up higher ! Originally it was so you could put decent size sheets of wood on the back but then to end up a canopy body on top of a flat deck Ute bed is a waste of space. Much better to have a factory original Ute bed and fit a canopy top on that is more usable space inside and lower main load is in the vehicle for better handling . When buying my new Land Cruiser 70 series last year I was frustrated with a lack of a Ute body availability! So instead of buying a LC 79, I bought a new LC78 Troopy and so glad I did.
