Run your black wire to your battery and your red positive wire to your headlight that'll cut them on and off and that's with all speakers for motorcycle the Bluetooth should automatically kick in

​@Dee Da Don The headlight only powers on when the bike is on. So if you wire something to the headlights they will also get power only when the bike is on. If you wire something straight to the battery it will always be getting power.

WatchJRGo I’m not a fan of speakers on the bike except for the Street Glide but I was thinking the same thing since these bikes are not that fast to begin with and i still have the stock exhaust it should sound pretty good. Have you had an issue with the speakers draining the battery since it’s not switched power?

You should always wire any accessory thru a relay, so it goes off when you shut your bike off. I can't believe there are people who actually wire things directly to the battery and then wonder why it runs the battery down? What a dumbass.

Have you had any issues with it powering off under heavy throttle? I also had mine kill my battery when the speakers were off. I added a toggle switch.

Can the control speaker be mounted on the brake side? I'd wire the power off the kill switch and put an inline fuse.

JBL website and your review didn't mention if the battery leads are for 6v or 12v batteries..? It would be nice if they had a USB rechargeable... so you don't have to wire it in.

Since every modern vehicle uses 12v electrical systems I'd say it's a safe bet it only supports 12v. You could test it on a 6v system, but the leads are rather small and it would probably need too much current for it to work. I kinda like not having to charge the thing.

Super enjoyable at city speeds, just a little sound when the Grom is full tilt. The audio shop I bought from actually said it wouldn't be loud enough. You'll have fun with it!

well all I do is ride wot all day even in the city and side streets. with a fmf exhaust.. its just how the grom is and how I like to ride.. does this drain the battery quickly.. and why not get a couple small highs also and put a rack on the back and do a custom boxed 10" removable sub to actually get some bumps too.. it seems you guys got the cash to do it you should and let me know how it works I want to but I also don't want to do it and then be really disappointed...

Actually you can, I have a set mounted on a KTM 200 with open pipe and on full volume I can ride at around 80-90k/hr and have no trouble hearing the music with a fully enclosed helmet- they are good value for money- granted its not perfect but they rock 👍

Hey I put these on my Grom the way instructions indicate but I notice it drains my battery u must connect to ignition switch to have a chance. FYI if u have anything else electric aftermarket like me I have lights on my Grom so I had to get Gel battery and switch for lights still in test mode because before new battery it would die after day or two then you damage the batteries ability to charge smh good luck to who ever putting these on any 125 cc

Can you here it in the high way or you havnt took it out on high way I'm not sure how fast that bike goes I've got a 2019 Cam am Ryker rally edition and need something I can here on the high way .i just got the new Ruroc helmates for motor cycles there knownfor the snow boarding helmates crazy design it comes with built in speakers in the helmate that run back to a system they call shockwave. You need the shockwave to be able to use the blue tooth phone and nav commands but the speakers come built in the helmate already shockwave sold separate . so I'm looking for something formy bike that has limited bar space
