Jack Brown they've been pretty big for a while. Jonny Craig(emarosa, slaves) used to be their front man, then Kurt Travis(a lot like birds, royal coda), then after he left this guy tillian(tides of man) took over in 2013 I think. The reason you're probably only hearing about them now is they just dropped an album that (in my opinion) is some of their best work. I'd highly recommend it and the album previous to it called mothership. The two vocalists are amazing, maybe even some of the best in the genre, but I think the band's selling point is definitely their guitarists style of writing. Too unique to not love and appreciate atleast that.

He's THE BEST MODERN DAY GUITARIST hands down. He can play any which way. Anyone who knocks will doesn't have a good nuff understanding of how to scour a fretboard. I knew about these guys even before Their initial rise records ep even came out. I found Jonny Craig even before them with ghost runner on third and little projects also as well as wills stuff I've found back in the day that was recorded by me from microphone after hearing a friends recording of will through another friend of his. I've been following will since up until his swan records now and all the great bands he signs and works with. I wish Jonny stayed clean. Now he even messed up slaves. Whatever I say is royal ocean. I own an original copy even before they had the rise records label on the back. I knew this band before this type of music was even looked at as being good and something no one understood and I loved that I knew it and loves it and no one else did until I showed about 2,000 friends and was a merch promoter at warped tour and had a license to sell homemade merch. I have every album autographed even from them since they got semi big and signed to rise. Even with the 2 with Kurt, and then btbm2. I had Jonny sign that hot topic exclusive one I had to pre-order with the slip cover, and he signed it at warped tour and asked for a handout, im sure to buy drugs and we hung out even after and just smoked little weed, then when he went to sign, he ripped up my outter slip cover and screamed at me and the other 5 people with us and told us to get lost. But I love you guys. Love Tillian, also loved tides of man! I love all you guys! Help a broke super fan out with some new merch/tix. I have tees that don't fit now and I'm broke!
