I bought one in 1967 and I raced it on flat tracks and I raced that thing for 3yrs then I got Drafted and I sold it to another racer and He raced it for awhile and tore the frame up and parked it! I came home bought it back for pennys and tore it down put it back together for the street and rode it for a long time and the garage that I had it in burnt down and it melted into puddle! I liked that Bike!

I had a CL72 in Montana in the late 60s, had Snuff r Nots in the exhausts, loved the way it sounded rolling through the mountains and valleys!

So you guys build a motorcycle in less than 20 minutes and I've been working on my sl350 for 2 years. I feel inadequate. I keep telling my wife it's almost done. All kidding aside nicely done gentlemen.

@@motorcyclerewind I didn’t get a chance to make down there. Hopefully next time I’ll get there. It’s about 3 hours from here.

I had a 337cc big bore kit ( webco ) and raked out forks--- < for better handling in the dirt > the thing was a beast--- best SOUNDING dirt I've ever owned ! 👍🥳👀

Love those high pipe bikes. I bought a 1966 CL 77 back in 2012 with 659 original miles... it's sets in my living room... better looking than any piece of furniture

I am a high pipe fan also. They are amazing motorcycles.
