I would always put the tree up about now with the wife. Not for the last 17yrs thaw, since she passed away. Over the years not the same anymore. We would take about a week. Each night we would sit snd chat for hours to look at our efforts with a glass of wine and nuts.. She loved her tree with lots of bits and bobs on it. We always put an angel at the top because it was our tradition. When finished we put the Angel last. She was my angel. We met in the pub under a Christmas tree. After watching this i am going to put our tree up with my angel at the top. And have a couple of glasses of wine. Thankyou. I forgot what i loved most about Christmas.

Twinkly pro rgb lights are amazing., I do big displays outside my house for charity and I use these lights . Yes they are extremely expensive but are worth every penny. I have quite a few sets and they never let me down. Glad to see you getting into the Christmas spirit.. Great wee video..

Love the tree and lights guys. Don’t feel that because your house is a new build it has to be a cooler Christmas theme. Wow I love your tree! I saw similar packs of baubles today and said to my Mam about what good value they were. The lights are epic. I would literally be sitting all night playing with the app and trying every single setting that is available ..... a few times over 😂. It looked like you both had a great time putting it up and what a great bargain you got on the tree!

Fantastic, we love twinkly lights especially with the effects playlists so our tree automatically plays a different effect every 30 minutes. For this year we’ve bought 400 berry caps for the lights which make the bulbs look bigger so that when decorated they stand out some more.

Having put our tree up two days ago (Nov 15th) as a surprise for our grandchildren I was really looking forward to watching this one. Your tree was nice and a great price (though having a similar one in the past my wife got fed up of hoovering up white bits every time you brushed past it). Great fluffing up by the way. I too don’t like big gaps. 😂 I was very impressed with your tree lights and was immediately Googling them for next year. I was equally impressed with your tree decorations and the way you dressed it (have you done a tree dressing course in the past?). The end result was superb and a great start to Christmas in your new home. Looking forward to seeing more in the future.

If you like the Christmas markets you should definitely visit us in Germany for the Christmas season. Every town has it's own special Christmas market. The one in our town was opened on Monday. And of course combine your trip with a visit to Wintertraum at Phantasialand.

Fantastic tree! We were going to decorate early for Christmas this year as it's our first Christmas in our new house together, but then we got new kittens last week so we have to wait until they are settled. I love buying a new special bauble each year but we use the same decorations every single year. I have some really special decorations still from when my mum was a child

I used twinkly on our white tree last year it was awesome. You can set up playlists on twinkly too so it changes every set amount of time. I had mine swapping on a playlist of different patterns last year and it looked awesome on white
