I helped one of my friends declutter in her closet. She was happy with the results so we quit early!

Just love the method of not pulling everything out and putting all over the floor or the bed. That's so overwhelming.

Love that she saw another spot that could be fixed (so quickly!!) once she realized how painless doing the first area was. Momentum!

My husband and I sold off most of what we owned and put the stuff we were keeping into luggage and we're traveling for at least 6 months in Europe right now. Using trains and our feet, mostly, to get around. We have very little stuff with us. Would you believe that we relatively quickly determined that we have too much stuff? It may not be much compared to the contents of our home, but it's a lot for two people over 65 to be lugging up two flights of stairs and dragging in and out of trains. Yesterday we did a decluttering session. We've identified about one third of the stuff we have that will be donated somewhere before we hop on our next train in a couple weeks. So when Dana says, everyone has stuff to clear out, yes, everyone actually does.

This method of decluttering saved me so much frustration this past week! I have health problems that let up just long enough to think everything is going great now, then flare back up and cause me to be almost non-functional for days. I tackled a huge project (back room FULL of stuff) last week, when I was feeling great. I got a lot done for two days, then everything flared up and I spent a couple of days barely able to get out of bed. There were zero worries about what was left undone. Before, I would have had chaos, because I would have had everything pulled out and a disaster on my hands. Super thankful for Dana K White!

This! I wish they knew the massive help they have been to me (and I’m sure many other people.) They are examples of real people and real situations. ❤ I sometimes rewatch while I work on my own stuff so I know I’m not alone 🥰
