After ten years of (immigration imposed?) imprisonment, a stagnating career chasing the (still) elusive GC I'm now relocating to Silicon Valley all the way from the east coast. This was part choice and part compulsion. While my thinking was similar, listening to you both was motivating and has washed away any lurking doubts. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

I’m going through massive life changes now, moving back from a cushy design job in Amsterdam to India, and planning to do my own thing. @@AarthiAndSriram That make sense. I worked for a bay area company for 6 years in order to get my greencard. That allowed me to work on my own startups. Pandemic situation kind of forced me to move permanently back to my home town - Bengaluru. Now I feel the next decade belongs to India and Bengaluru is well positioned for tech related.
