Fun Fact: Troy won season 1 and the rest of the even numbered seasons of Flounder Fest while Nick won the rest of the odd numbered seasons of Flounder Fest, meaning Troy leads Nick in the all-time series 5-4 in this insane Mario Kart Wii rivalry!

Wow, that last race was a very rare mistake by Troy. He should have seen that Nick was not laying any traps as he is normally inclined to do, which means he was holding onto something he wanted to keep. In first place, that had to be mushrooms or maybe a mega mushroom -- both of which dodge blue shells. Troy needed to use the blue shell on the 3rd to last set or perhaps even earlier to give himself a chance to pull something else that could win him the game. Very fun tiebreaker though, as always. Keep up the good work boys!

I think the two cruical misakes in this 1v1 were: 1. In the last race, he wasn't throwing anything back and wasn't holding anything behind him. The blue shell should have been thrown instantly. 2. The green shell at 12:45 would have blocked the red shell if he didn't just stand still accepting his fate. It would of been a tight race, but he could have remained in first barely and won.

If Nick didn't have mushrooms though it would've been an auto win bc Nick wouldn't have time to catch up, however if the blue was thrown instantly Nick would've had more time to get items to catch up, or a blue of his own. In hindsight yes it would've been better to throw the blue instantly, the best place to have thrown it would've been where nick was either in the air from the mushroom, as it's harder to dodge mid air, or on the spiral so Nick would run into a wall dodging it

@@corasolagalar He stated he had the mushrooms all along. Throughout lap 2 to 3 he didn't throw anything back not even once even with some good trapping spots. This instantly in my head flagged he had mushrooms. So if he used it earlier, he could try to get mushrooms, mega mushroom or a mega cloud instead of at the end of lap 3 when all was already lost.
