5:20 same rhett. i think it’s because it’s both an instruction (which immediately could be seen as the motivational message creator looking down on you), toxic positivity and apathetic in some cases (such as ‘just smile!’ as if that’s gonna make you feel better if you’ve been having a really hard day). the creator’s hearts are in the right place, but it’s usually the execution that’s flawed and leads to hostile reactions

It's kind of like in school they have all these rules/motivations plastered in classrooms.
