I've only have 2 of your top 3. While Russell's 15 is a great bourbon, that Old Fitzgerald 13 is literally now the best bourbon I've ever tasted. On my bourbon wall it was my 2022 WLW. It has since been dethroned. I paid $500 on secondary for it and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Also just to address the BT comment if you look at previous whiskey of the year video you will see that most BT products don't break our top 10(I think John J Bowman Cask Strength B1 is the only Saz product to do it.) But whatever we review and like it goes on the (1924 was the only one we left off and it is because we just simply forgot). This list is a loose grouping of where we think they are ranked as of right now. Like we talked about in this video and others before we do a big end of the year blind and rank whiskey from that point on. That stagg could finish first, or it could not even make our top 20 for the end of the year. I appreciate you taking this list very seriously and look forward to what you think at our Whiskey Of The Year video at the end of the year.

I never understood the mentality that people have about only seeing videos of bottles that they have or could easily get. Why even watch a bourbon review video if it’s a bottle that you already have or that could easily get? These are videos specifically that help you know what bottles are worth or not worth hunting. Why even complain in the comments on a video where you can’t get the bottles? What’s the point of that? Do you want us to feel bad for you? I don’t have any of these bottles. Do you feel bad for me now? If you have a bottle I don’t have are you not allowed to enjoy it or review it? This is some toddler mentality that some people have that they don’t like other people having what they can’t have

@@alecky1972 the definition of hunting is seeking or pursuing something. So, by definition if you go into a liquor store for a certain bottle you are “hunting” that bottle. Use whatever word you want though. Just don’t go on a KZbin video that’s designed to review whiskey and complain you don’t have all the whiskey on the video.
