As someone that lives in a primarly football (soccer for yall) country the NBA Cup lacks a little touches of infrastructure. What Kenny said about streching it out is very important. Especially if the NBA can set a date that can keep every year it’s gonna help a lot. Another aspect is teams providing bundles to help fans. The most obvious solution is obviously having something for the season-holders. And lastly, having rafters that are specific for the team. Obvious place for those is behind the hoops. You get people with the jerseys all together cheering and suddenly there’s more of an atmosphere. (Also a lot of chants from football come from having a “visitor rafter” instead of being all mixed)
