My dream vacation is a European tour. Possible spots for that tour would be London, Dublin, Scotland, Barcelona/Madrid, Paris, Italy (both Rome for Colosseum, and somewhere in the countryside for views and wine), Germany (I am of German decent), Greece (Pantheon and the Greek Isles), and Norway/Sweden (I have heard that the Scandinavian Peninsula is gorgeous). I know that is a big list KEKW. Being from the USA, I have always wanted to visit Europe for the history and the sightseeing!

My friends lived in Japan for 3 years and still have some cultural things they do from that time. They say that before every dinner (basically means thank you for the food, and they do it before actually eating, not w/ chopsticks thing) and I was so used to it after I moved to the town they live in and was doing dinner with them frequently (because I didn’t know anyone else here) that I started to say it at Thanksgiving when my aunt asked me to say grace. 😂

Been twice to visit best friend there. Kyoto has some amazing temples but strongly recommend the golden temple on a sunny day. Cash was king when I was there, less places had card payment options then I thought. The fruit crepes are amazing

Hokkaido is gorgeous in winter you can take a cruise through the frozen sea if that’s your cup of tea. A visit to an onsen is also a must do.

Always clear your plate as much as reasonably possible (It's considered polite and indicates you enjoyed your food.) If you have tattoos; hide them in Japan (It's becoming more accepted, but tattoos are still pretty heavily stigmatized; you probably wouldn't be able to get into a bathhouse with visible tattoos). If you're going to Japan; you have to visit a hotsprings (It's part of the culture to shower and then have a hot bath). Know ALL of your local routes by heart (Public transport might as well be part of the culture). Be prepared to walk (Walking might as well be part of the culture). Each person should carry a physical map with them whether going by foot or public transport (Devices do fail sometimes and you have to be prepared for that). It's probably a good idea to carry a basic city survival kit on each person: a book for translating English/Japanese, three food bars, three water bottles, a couple plasters, a roll of bandages, a few gauze pads, a tube of antiseptic (If you're lost or hurt for any reason, even if it's just not understanding something and failing to get out of the way in time, it may be harder to get help than in a country that speaks your language. So regardless of which foreign country you go to... a survival kit might get you through the day. And you should have refills in your bag just incase you need it) Secure your luggage as best you can (Being pickpocketed in any country can ruin a trip quick).

Things we did, fish markets, in Tokyo you can visit the tallest buildings and see the entire skyline, shibuya crossing is the busiest intersection in the world (also there’s Starbucks ;), go to an Onsen, which is natural hot springs from the ground that come up, it’s so relaxing after doing a hike or something like that, absolutely cannot forget Akihabra, which is like anime town for everything in the world, games, comics, all of it. Also just quirks of Japan, try a lot of the various vending machine drinks (they’re everywhere) and never stray away from little restaurants that are locally owned.. if u go you’ll have the time of ur life man.

Don't know if you are into the historical side of trips but the castles and temples in japan are lovely. Todai-Ji temple in Nara is one I'd love to visit. Also Nanzen-ji in Kyoto. As for castles Himeji Castle and Osaka castles are wonderful sites of architecture. As for dream holiday, I've got a few, I'd love to see Rome for the Colosseum, Jerusalem for the cathedrals (preferably while a war isn't going on), and Japan for the above.

Οbviously you have to go to Kyoto because it's by far the most beautiful city. Make sure you go when the cherry trees are blooming, which is usually late March though it varies. Of course you'll want to see the temples and such but, for me, if I were a girl (though I don't know queen Pleb's tastes) my favorite thing to do would be to start every day at one of those places where you rent a kimono and they do you hair and make up so that you look like a proper Geisha. It's actually quite common for women to walk around dressed like that, especially in Kyoto, so you don't have to worry about looking weird, as if in costume.

This split is just ridiculous...was Emerald II-III for a few months and after reset got into Plat III and now I cant get a single decent game, always lost before I could even have an impact. Currently on 7 loss streak (again) and probably will get demoted to Gold

Lived in Japan for 3 years as an American. I loved it, miss it all the time. The food is godly. Sushi and ramen heaven. The Japanese are wonderful people. Be kind and you'll never have an issue. You're going to have a great time.

I haven't been, but my coworker just went there on vacation. Make sure you buy the bus/train pass ahead of time, because you can't buy it once you're there (don't ask me why)

I Huzz, I’ve been on vacation to Japan before and I would suggest going to Ichiran Ramen in Osaka. It’s the best ramen I’ve ever had. Also definitely would recommend the countryside and taking a visit to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Tokyo is a bit of an obvious one but I recommend checking that out as well.
