People say there's a hell, the real hell is this existence on earth. Being slaves to money until we die, having to pay to do literally everything, pay to sleep, pay to eat...until the sweet escape of sleep until we have to do it all over again the next day. A lot of people at my company choose to work 10-12-14-16 hours a day. I've said something to an older guy about how 8 hours is more than enough, and his response was typical. "Only 8 hours!? My last job we were working 12's like nothing and picking overtime on the weekends!". Not sure why Americans LOVE being corporate slaves. I personally believe 8 hours is too much. 4 would be ideal if we still work thpucal 5 days a week. But 2-3 days a week would be a more reasonable "work to life balance". Sounds crazy, I know. But it only sounds crazy because we've all been condition to the norms of todays corrupt, greedy, usury filled society.

I'm about to turn 32 and had a bloody gutful. I've always been self employed but low income. Pay the taxes and you are left with nothing. Too much time lost, too much stress. IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!! I want to LIVE and CONNECT with people and that feels impossible in this hellscape world we live in today. But I am going to try. I am happy to work a few hours a week flexibly and on my terms, but there's no way I will ever accept this 40 hour, 5 days a week wage slave BS. What's worse is the pain of coming home to dead suburbia every evening, I never see my neighbours and there is ZERO sense of community. People just passing time in their houses until it's time to sleep and then do it all over again. I can't keep this up any longer. My life has lost all meaning and the drudgery is too much to bare.

He was 31 yrs old..his little sister died 1.5 yrs later from an overdose, she was 30, and his little brother (my 2nd closest friend on Earth) died 1 yr after that, car accident, he was 32. His father died 3 weeks after that from jaundice. I knew them all nearly my entire life. I had to let an entire family go. I have not been the same since. Live your life. Live for those you've lost. I think about death daily from the moment I wake up and have for years. This for me is what drives and gives life the meaning i need to keep living. My happiness came when I realised that life is meaningless regardless of what meaning and purpose you have in life. In the end nothing matters. Tomorrow is not promised. Tomorrow does not exist. Now is all we have. We are all winging it and we are all on the same sinking boat that inevitably ends in tragedy. We are just memories and memories are just brain tissue. When the brain dies consciousness dies and we will cease to exist. The truth about the human condition is that answers will never cure our fears, only acceptance will. It all about killing time until you die. Being human is mental health. Life is the ultimate form of cruelty. Remember that you are going to die. Don’t take life to seriously. Smile, you’re alive. For now ☠⚰

No, we do exist after we die. We have souls and there is a Heaven and a Hell, the reason the world is what it is is because we live in a FALLEN WORLD. This world is run by Satan, and he makes you think that there is no hope and no God. We are sinful beings, since the beginning of time until now there has always been suffering and war, but this is only in this world. Now because of Jesus and what he did for us, you have a choice. accept him as Lord and savior and receive the free gift of salvation or deny him and spend the rest of your eternity without God...which means hell. This life is just temporary, the real life starts when we pass on.

I think it's important for us to separate our own existence, goals, passions and thoughts from the "outside world." If all we do is concentrate and think about what is wrong with the world, we'll be wasting precious time that could be devoted to creating your own path, your own passions, your own opportunities. Let the world be what it will be. The entire world isn't bad or ugly. In fact most of the world and it's people are beautiful. We only hear about the bad. Please don't focus on that. That road goes nowhere but down. Turn your thoughts back on yourself and limit your exposure to all the videos and news that just suck the life out of you. There are wonderful videos to learn from, travel with, sing to, develop skills by, and it's very uplifting. From my chair I have gone snow camping, done walking tours through remote villages around the world, attended concerts, enjoyed travelling with van lifers, learned to manage when the electric goes out, learned about biking (and bought one). So many videos that are inspiring - let the world do what it will.

Your activities and you work should pertain to you, your goals, your values, your family and those you care about. Don't let the corruption and deceit in this world seep into your private life. Keep it "out there" where it belongs. Do not get discouraged by other's behavior and efforts to control you. If the news upsets you, stop watching it for awhile. The news is focused on troubling things, most of which we have no control over. If the news only reported on positive things, we would feel totally different about our world. But no one reads positive news, so they use it as fodder for readership. It's not that most of it may not be true, but we don't see the forces at work to fix the issues, and we are left with a "bad news dump" every day with no solutions. Just find value in your own life, and create diversions away from the news. Grab someone and find an adventure every weekend or so. Go hiking, swimming, fishing, do a day trip, see some stuff. 💗💗

In those moments find peace and sanity by forging a path forward with a vision for you future - do what you love at all costs 2. See 1 and 2 My parents are both in healthcare. My dad is 77 and still practices medicine. My mom was a nurse for 45 years and retired 10 years ago and now has Alzheimer’s disease. Growing up in a medical family you heard about DEATH every single day - every day.

I got diagnosed with bowel cancer back in feb this year, officially staged at 3a, had my large intestine almost all removed and halfway through 6 months of chemo right now. I always thought id wasn't to go out with a band, but at 36 with 4 kids and wife, i spends my days in my garden, reducing my wants and being happy with what i have. Idk if it's right or wrong for anyone else but it is working for me, getting my mind out stuff ready race, taking things slower and enjoying what i have already. I'm very sorry for your friend passing so young, but thank you for posting, it's refreshing content and i good you continue!

I dont know what if anything comes after death but i feel in my heart that there is more. I feel that all life didnt just begin out of conditions being just right millions and billions of years ago. There is more to it. Not saying it is a god thing but just think about it. Of all the creatures on this planet why did we get to be the ones that are self aware? Why did we get the ability to reason? Theres more to it. I love all of you my brothers and sister.

This was a good tribute to Dave, man. Wherever and whatever he might be now, I am sure he is probably proud of you for letting his passing and the closing of his life be a catalyst to open yourself up (this video seems a lot more “sincere” and first-person than your other videos, I just checked now) in a new way. I find that sometimes in death there is new life, at a creative level. I do not know why. And I don’t mean to say that to celebrate the passing of anyone. I’m just saying it cause if you went from 50 subs to 200+ also in like 3 days, I bet it’s a weird feeling of almost synchronicity. But I like to see it as the energy of those we appreciated flowing through us or through the world, and then helping us or being with us more than they could in physical form. Take care, thanks for sharing, subbed. Rest in Peace, Dave. Thanks for leaving such a positive impact in this world that a simple coworker could tell, knowing you so little, that you had so much to give.

Life flies by. I took a lot of risks in life. Risks were the Army, war, moving out of state, oilfield, railroad etc and it was not always easy. It paid off in the end due to God being there by my side. Too many times in life, we as humans get comfortable in our uncomfortable life. It is always harder to make a change. It is easy to stay where you are. Life goes by super fast and it is never a given that you will be here tomorrow. Stay motivated and keep the hunger alive in your soul and keep God/ Jesus in your life is what I try to do.

i worked at a store in the mall selling womens shoes during college. during my time i worked with a guy the same age as me. he was pretty shy and had a hard time fitting in, even within the store. I tried to talk with him a few times but i was mainly just focused on getting that money to pay my bills at the time. fast forward to 2020 i was laid off the year i graduated college and i totally forgot about him and the job. then either a year or two later i see his obituary and found out he took his own life. Turns out he dropped out of college and basically just threw in the towel. Idk man the world is a messed up place. That shit changed my outlook on life and i try to be nicer to people now, in life and in the workplace. Many are very unhappy and sad with the way their life has turned out.

I quit working for the man 3 years ago and do my own thing super quasi part-time if at all anymore. For fun I tried going back to my job as an assistant to my replacement and honestly I couldn't force myself to do it anymore for all the pay in the world. We have one go, each second that passes is unique and you just can't spend your time where have to give those precious seconds up for crap pay, or even good pay, because those seconds are irreplaceable.

I think about death all the time. Since 12 years ago, I have seen many people that I knew died. My dad passed 12 years ago and now my mom is sick. The prospect of becoming an orphan hits hard. I have always been their little girl that they loved and protected. Not having them around makes me feel lost and empty. Life is just a game. It’s never had a meaning, I just thought that it did because I was young and naive. I was a fool for thinking that life was this serious thing. Everybody says that we are all gonna die one day. But I think that WHEN we die matters a lot. I see older people in their 60s or 70s who still have their parents around. But I lost my dad when he was 62. My mom came down with dementia is her early 60s. I see people my age who go shopping, travelling and things with their parents and I think to myself why am I not blessed with that? People play with their grandkids, yet my parents never got to know my son. My son will never get to know them either 😢 I probably know as many people who have passed as people who are alive. I thought this is what life would be like for people in their 70s and 80s. But I’m only in my 30s now and feeling so empty 😢😢😢 Edit: sorry for the rant.

@bradpnw1897 2 күн бұрын
Don't be sorry for the rant. You are one of the healthier ones for choosing to talk about it instead of just bottling it up instead of just trying to keep going at any cost. I'm very sorry to hear about your dad and your mom being sick very sorry to hear about that. Both my brothers died and my dad is dead also but I'm glad my mom is still alive. I'm really appreciative of my step-brother being still alive and my sister bang still alive. I have seen so many times in this world that this world just seems to eat up the good people bit by bit and will devour them all praising and awarding the people that are mean conniving and backstabbing then every place I've worked at are almost every place it just the only thing that matters is power and money and doesn't matter how nice you are doesn't matter how good of a person you are none of that stuff seems to matter. That is why I am changing my life and going back to school this winter quarter to become a drug counselor and to get my AA and behavioral health psychology. I don't care if it doesn't pay much it's a calling it means something very deep to me. Counselors for some of the people that helped save my life when I was lost in drugs. Been clean for almost 2 years now. Ironically the hardest part for me about getting clean long-term has been realizing that where I'm living outside of Seattle that so many people are rich or upper upper middle class that if you're not making a bunch of money your struggling to get by. I am incredibly grateful that I've got a room that I rent that I can afford and I can afford it even when I'm going to college. That was the one thing about being on drugs for years that taught me was that taught me to be tough and it taught me that I'm all right being alone and that life is hard. I find a way to keep going bit by bit day by day and did not let it overwhelm me. I wish you the best and hope that you don't let things overwhelm you and if you ever need anybody to talk to let me know. God bless you 🙏

@@bradpnw1897 Thank you very much for listening. It really meant a lot to me. It is so nice that you’ve saved yourself from using drugs. It takes a lot of courage to do so. I sometimes think of drinking a lot of alcohol so I can forget my pain, but so far haven’t done so. What bothers me the most is the financial hardship that my parents endured but still tried to provide for me and my brother. I remember my dad’s face when he finally could buy a decent car. Now that I am financially stable, they are not around so I can provide for them. Money and materials don’t mean anything without human connection. It is so good that you have found meaning in your call to go back to school to become a counsellor. That’s what matters. Having a roof over your head no matter how big or small is what you need to keep going. I am glad that it’s working out for you. I am sure because of your personal experience with drugs you have a lot to bring to the table when counselling your clients. I am also regretful that I didn’t understand what my dad went through when he lost his parents at a young age. He was 10 when his dad passed. He said that he would run in the streets crying and asking God to please return his dad just for one more day. He also lost his mom when he was in his late 20s before I was born. Whenever he remembered his mom his eyes would get watery. I never know what it meant. I now understand it and wish that I would know back then so that I could provide some comfort to him. Despite that, he always lived in the moment. Or maybe I thought so because he tried to look strong. You also mentioned something that resonates with me a lot. That mean people have great lives in this world. It seems that the meaner you are the world will be kinder to you. Those who did wrong to me and my family are healthy and alive despite being 15 years older than them.

Someday I'll move out and move to a different state with a lower cost of living. I'm going to try to pump a lot of money into my retirement account. I think this is how people have lived for most of human history. We had a period of time where we were living in a golden age of liberty and accomplishment, where a man could pull himself up by his bootstraps all the way to the top, but those times have passed. Now we live to work so we can live for nothing, and they look at you like you're insane for wanting to kiss up to the business end of a 12 gauge.
