Our economy struggling with uncertainties, housing issues, foreclosures, global fluctuations, and pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.

In particular, amid inflation, investors should exercise caution when it comes to their exposure and new purchases. It is only feasible to get such high yields during a recession with the guidance of a qualified specialist or reliable counsel.

True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, opposed to my previous performances, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diverssify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of $250k...that's like 7times more than I average on my own.

Before I've even watched all this, it annoys me when people discussing it on the TV, refer to it as the ' current ' cost of living crisis, as if it's a temporary thing, when you absolutely know it's only going up & up, & has done massively already.

And the ‘current crisis’ has been going on for at least two years.

Make it cheaper, so people can afford it. Cheaper prices, cheaper rents, lower rates on borrowings, mortgages, etc etc. This was the Golden Rule practically applied by Arthur Nash of Ohio to his tailoring business...made it thrive. Common sense, ain't it.

The rent which will be charged will have no link to inflation, as the numbers of houses and flats decline (due to landlords selling up), the supply drops....... what landlords like myself can charge goes up and up. It matters not how much our mortgage is, or if we even have one (i don't), its a business and if we can charge market rate, we will do. The cost of housing is one of the very biggest debts people have, and this current crop of govt are making the whole situation worse with the RRB and EPC C. Hang on tight folks. 🤐

So a carrot in November 2019 cost 1 lb. that carrot when to 1 lb 50 by 2021...then 2 lb. by 2022...the government doesn't see that even 1.7 % on inflation is still to high when the price if that carrot has doubled.....when your pay has one gone up 20%

The cost of living crisis is made up! The reason for the rise is greed. Take a look around. 1. Banks: There's less branches, less branch workers, less overheads but interest rates go up? 2. Energy: Up and down the country we see more and more wind farms, more renewable energy more competition but the prices keep going up? 3. Food: Food portions are getting smaller but more expensive look how big things were 20-30 years ago at a fraction of the price. But now we get less for a stupidly high price. Just the 3 examples are huge because they affect every single one of us. They are squeezing everything they can out of us for one reason. GREED. Untill company's are boycotted like Cadbury, BP and shell, withdraw your money from banks. The so called cost of living crisis will continue to get worse.

People don't see its the direct consequence of ill-considered, panicky 'stop-any-climate-change' policy. And central banks should reconsider their assumptions that inflation looks the same across increasing levels of societal wealth.

It is a crime that people on unempoyment benefit are living well below the poverty line . Is this not a human rights issue . you can gage how good a Govt is by the way they look after there population . In Tibet they have a Govt that takes surveys on how happy the population is and make it a policy to care about happiness etc.
@manjeetgill115 күн бұрын
Services inflation (largley discretionary soedming) is running at 5pc. This would imply a certain portion of the population do have extra money to spend on things. Its one of the reaons why holidays (discretionary expenditure) have rocketed higher. So whilst there is a cost of living crisis for the poor, the middle class are doing ok

Inflation will be back with a vangeance
@stumac8692 ай бұрын
Why, the monetary supply is contracting. It'll go back up if the government starts monetising debt (money printing) to pay its way. Prices are still rising because wages are rising but that'll not last long as we slide further into recession. The only exception will be housing because demand is outstripping supply because of immigration (UK).
@kk-xj5oz2 ай бұрын
@@stumac869 that's what they like you to think. The fact is that the money supply is not contracting just growing in a slower speed
