As a L&D nurse, I can honestly say that you are going to make their day/night shift like a million times better. That is such a sweet gesture of kindness. Alabama law requires that infant and toddlers ride in rear-facing car seats until they are at least one(1) year old or weigh 20 pounds, or until they reach the seats maximum height or weight limit. Rear-racing seats provide the best protection for infants, so it's recommended to keep children in them for as long as possible. Just an fyi for folks who may not know.😊❤️

When I had my daughter I got the doctor who delivered her a hot chocolate mug set for her and her husband. While in labor her husband and kids showed up and she told them she couldn’t leave. I was only 25 weeks and was terrified. I had the best doctor and nurses. They all checked on kiddo in the NICU and surprised her dad and I with her footprints and handprints after I was settled into my second room. Absolutely love the hospital I had her in.

FYI Nurses are limited on the value of gifts they receive from patients by state law. You might check with the hospital code of ethics for Alabama. Those are nice but above a basic thank you note or food to share.

Please don't get the addition for the stroller, so that Ivey can ride on it. She should be walking next to the stroller, not on it. That is most appropriate for her age.
