Yes, Julia is taking over Kate’s lessons with her coach while she is away at university, and then when Kate comes home he said he will squeeze a lesson in for her anytime he is free.

Kate was working with her all summer, passing along things her coach does with her. I am hoping I have videos of what Julia was riding like at the beginning of the summer to show you the difference a couple of months has made. Kate really helped her improve her balance and confidence so she felt ready to start lessons again. Dressage lessons will be starting back up in October as well. 😊

I can relate to Julia, I went to a fresh high school and new absolutely nobody. High school is fun though, she'll find her place. I love this trainer he'll do wonders for her, im excited for her!

Kate has been working with her since summer break began. The improvement was incredible. Kate got her confidence built up so she was ready to get back to lessons with a coach. She will be doing the jumping lessons every other week, and Dressage every other week (so weekly lessons, alternating between dressage and jumping). That said, her jumping coach is an Eventer, so he also works on the Dressage principles as well. It was a really good combo for Kate, so I think it will be for Julia as well.

Julia is doing awesome. She looks so much like Kate in the saddle. Julia has grown up so much. Love seeing her back riding. I am also praying Kate makes the team. I don't see why she wouldn't, she is a lovely rider. Just a note to Mom and Dad, thank you for getting your girls the best coach. The foundation they have received is impeccable. Julia will be as good as Kate. I am also glad BEAR is recovering. Thank you, missed you guys, but family comes first we all understand that. ​@@BarnBootsandCountryRoots

Isnt your crop/whip suppose to be in your inside hand?.

I was taught to carry the crop in the outside hand so you are presenting a ‘clean look’ for the judge.

​@@songbirds3712I guess with the dressage whip I use it can't be on the outside against the wall. It would drag and wouldn't be able to use it. Also I have always been taught to hold and use a crop or whip on the inside.
