Thanks for letting us watch your progression on this beast

I've been watching you for years and it just amazes me what you can do with what you have to make a awesome vehicle. Your step by step process makes it easy to learn and be able to do the same thing. Keep up the good work. You and Jolene are good people.

Everyone sees things from their own view. I have a full fleet of corded and cordless tools. once the system is big enough to have reserve batteries, I reach for the cordless 9 out of 10 times. Not having cords all over the place becoming unplugged, getting nipped etc is heaven for me.

An organized shop will cut your building time in half. Just the aggravation of running around in circles will drive you crazy lol

You are nailing the look of this HOTWHEELS car. Going to be a prized possession once done. You keep building and i will keep watching.

The design on this car is really classic. Like a perfect fantasy model hot rod. That hood looks great. So much better than simply missing. The sheet metal work is dazzling ! These videos are a part of the value of this car. (not that you care). Thinking forward of what this completed car could look and sound like can be a fun exercise.

great DIY lesson on drill sharpening, I've done the same thing myself, a dob of weld on the shank stops them from slipping in the chuck

G’day Chad and Jolene & Greetings from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 it’s a great channel and it’s terrific that you show in detail what and why you fabricate the way that you do. This hot rod that you and Jolene are making is going to be a real beauty I love the style of it and the great part is that you keep the integrity of the car, The other thing is you have an Australian cattle dog that’s great I have subscribed and look forward to following the build kind regards John

I got one on those drills ; I was boring some 1/4 in steel with an old milwauke 1/2 in drill once, with out the side handle , using a large bit , well when the bit stuck , my hand got doubled up in the hand guard busting one finger in the process . A learning experience indeed .

Where were you when I was building my rods ? So many things you do could have made my life easier. Of course, the tools have changed since then. Worked in a small garage with minimal tools. Took lots of time. You are moving right along. Still can not wait to see it complete. Going to scream.

Will be nice to see both running boards on the car. I would have marked the holes then used the plasma cutter to make the holes. Jolene always does a fabulous job getting the best shots for the fans.

A Drill Dr. Works like a dream. Keep 'em sharp and they will not slip in the chuck, especially if you use the key! Battery powered tools will clean up the tangle on the floor and the technology is much better than you imagine.
