you can buy a recharge kit for the life jacket. It has a bottle and a new plunger to open the bottle when it inflates

As stated above anything above 500 you'll need a stainless impeller and hardened shaft. If keeping with the aluminum just baby it and you'll be fine, but if you do changeit i recommend a c cut. Also keep that split bowl and droop that big heavy boat will benefit from the extra lift and the place diverter should swap over.

We have a buddies Dominator bowl but doesn’t look like it will fit in the Berkeley transom adapter, the Dominator bowl is too big of diameter. For now might have to just run the factory bowl. Thank you for the feedback!

Anything over 500 hp its adviced to have a stainless steal impeller cut in the right rpm range to match your motor. I recommend a b cut with an inducer.

Thanks for the feedback, we’ll have to check and see what impeller is in this thing now since we probably won’t have the budget for a stainless one just yet. We’ll see!

I had a project jet boat in the past that was identical to this. I Googled the heck out of it and never found one remotely similar. It was titled as a 1974 Mariah Panther. Berkley jet with a 454. Yellow and black. I remember seeing yours in the background of earlier videos and knew they looked similar. But now I'm sure. The entire "shell" of mine was good/ beautiful and I was super ambitious. I wasn't able to see the project through unfortunately. I was prepared to replace the engine and have the pump gone through but the stringers were smoked. Just couldn't dump the money I wanted to in her. GREAT VIDEO!! Can't wait to see more of this boat.

That’s awesome. I’ve seen a couple different jetboat brands from back then where the boat looks about identical. I wonder if the companies just copied each other back in the day or shared the hull molds or what.

Better recess 02 sensors in a threaded tube. They don't like the amount of moisture boats give them. Orient them facing vertical if possible.

Thanks man. You’re right I’m a little worried about that. I think we are hoping that at idle it might not be as accurate with the exhaust pulses not mixing together but at higher rpm hopefully it’s a little better. It’s going to be interesting to see how it acts.
