Everytime I see Cole's mom drop to one knee for the proposal it brings me to tears. That made this proposal so special and unique seeing the mom helping her son out with this beautiful proposal. What an awesome and supportive family and such a beautiful proposal to hear Cole sing to Charisma. My brother only encountered racist to the face remarks from his wife's side of the family while dating and through their entire interracial marriage. He didn't have that support from his wife's side of the family and he tried to the very end to try to change their way of thinking and they never budged. They ended in divorce and two beautiful kids. Cole and Charisma this union has all the basis to last a lifetime. Congrats!❤

The problem isn't that people see skin color or different ability. The problem is that people treat other people badly because of their skin color or different ability. Ignoring those differences or pretending that those differences don't exist makes it worse. Those differences are what make each of us unique & special. What we should pray for & what we should all work towards is building a world where people treat everyone else equally & fairly & without hatred whether they have different ability, different skin color, different gender, or different sexuality from us. I agree with you on not being able to understand why anyone would downvote this video or make negative comments on it. But such people deserve our pity for the hatred in their hearts.

Been binge watching all of your videos all day and finally got to this one. I didn't realize why i was putting this particular video off (as opposed to watching it much earlier) but the fact that you proposed on July 25, 2019 made it all come into perspective.. I lost my boyfriend of 6 years on that day. He was the Cole to my Charisma... That being said July 25 was the worst day of my life but somehow knowing that it was one of the best in your lives gives me hope and makes me happy. I am so so glad I found you guys. No matter how many times I watch this my eyes tear up! Cole's proposal was so beautiful, so romantic and so special. One knee by Mama Kelly to do what Cole couldn't to make his proposal traditional and complete was the finishing touch! It also shows you that his mother is simply an amazing woman that is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. I think we would all love to be part of this beautiful loving family. I happened upon their channel and SO glad I did. I’m REALLY late in getting to watch all of their videos. I never comment much but yours resonates with me. I had all of my grandparents for years. My daughter was able to know my paternal and maternal grandmothers...one was 95 YO and passed away in 2016 and the other was 98.5 YO when she passed away in 2018. My daughter was only 9 and 11 YO at the time of each ones passing away but was a huge help in learning to look after them. She learned that huge part of love involves sacrifice. I learned from all of my grandparents what love and endurance looks like!! I miss them deeply. Life will never be the same but grateful to the lessons they taught me, not only verbally but most importantly, by example. Take care.
